No. This is different. We're not agonizing over the release. It's already been released. People have had their copy for weeks. There should be alarm when the etailers themselves aren't able to track down product.

 

Agreed, Weijiang usually communicates any delay prior to production. Weijiang seems to have stopped this release mid-production as there have been plenty of people who have a copy but with many pre-orders unfulfilled. I still want this so I'm gonna sit with ShowZ and see what happens but this looks like a unique situation since they rebranded at the onset of this release.

 

I asked SZS for a refund. My hype for it is no more, and just seeing everyone's photos was strangely awesome enough to quench my yearning for it during this wait.

If it's truly a success, I'm sure they'll likely follow through with a battle damaged version or a DotM version down the road. Or maybe I'll get one on eBay later, but there's actually other pressing and practical matters I can use the money for at this time (replacing 2 car tires).

I will live vicariously through your guys' joy.

There's been rumors circulating about WJ and other KO facilities being hit. This isn't really helping snub those rumors either.

 

I’m sorry dude but I talked to a trusted source on Weibo, and he said it’s highly unlikely they’re making a Dotm variant. I posted this a while ago, so I’m really hoping they change their mind 

 

I just hope they make enough to cover the pre-orders. paid in July and Still haven't heard squat.

 

I think all these orders are overwhelming them. They need to get their stuff together, cuz I’m about to order BA prime lol

 

SZS ordered less than 200 and only got 20. Discouraging, no? WJ doesn't seem to be up to the task for such a small production of even 200... UNLESS something caused their operation to stop. Just my opinion.

 

I haven’t heard anything from terry either about what’s going on. I guess I’m just counting myself lucky. I didn’t realize this was going to be a huge pain in the butt to get.

 

after reading all this i decided to take a chance and pre order, its the only prime i want in my mpm collection (although i own takara) and i hope we get an update at some point.
