Bump. Anyone know?

 

It seems to be a solid and good figure. The size is exactly what I wanted, taller than Devastator but smaller than the city bots. I think it would be definitely a worthy purchase, but I don't know if I have enough space right now.

 

Exactly how I felt. I was ready to fork over the cash to pre-order and then they released the updated pics with the retools.

FINALLY!!!! A perfect reference I can measure against. With them standing straight ahead and side by side, I can measure against my own Fort Max to see how tall Omega really is. He is 19.5” inches at the very top of his head. He is shorter than all the city formers including Trypticon, when he stands fully upright. I wouldn’t want him any taller. I was a bit worried when we learned a few months back that they had redesigned the hips for some reason which gave him some extra height. This is now how it should be: He towers over Devastator but not the city formers.

 

Yeah. I painted up the eyes on mine. Used Tamiya Light Blue.

There's 2 screws, and then you have to pry the helmet open - there's glue used around one of the pegs on the top of the helmet. Then everything comes apart super easily.

the final version of Omega supreme's hips and groin matches the preliminary sketch they used more than the prototype

 

If I were on crack and not wearing my glasses, maybe...seriously, that looks nothing like the round little knob hips on the final.

Looks like the prototype had the same shape and orientation but they bulked it up slightly to preserve the lines down from the shape of the torso.

 

Not floppy here. It's completely optional, though, as it's not even used in alt mode. If you like the cannon pony tail look for nostalgia reasons, then great. Otherwise, you can just leave it collapsed down.

One could always try to see if tightening the screw a little bit also helps.

 

There's 2 visible screws on Omega's head. One goes right through the base of the cannon tail.

 

Definitely floppy on my copy. I used a little bit of floor polish and now it’s fine.

 

Have there been any Omega QC issues? Assembly issues? Bad paint? Chips, massive stress Mark's? Broken in box? Anything?

 

Not on my mine. He's perfect.

 

how tall is it to the top of the helmet and wings?

 

Yaujita had some broken tabs floating in his legs. Mine hasn't had that problem so far.
