Huh, it does seem my GoT set is processing. Edit: I drove up to Columbus for their toy show Sunday. For the most part, there wasn't much of interest and only a handful of Mega sets. An overpriced Windraider and some overpriced MotU heroes. Ten bucks a figure. A bagful of old Halo figures with the ball/socket limbs. More random Heroes and a few Assassins Creed figure packs. A CoD ATV Recon set I didn't ask about... But there was a lone Surface Troop set on a table that I passed by once figuring the guy wanted closer to the Amazon rate of $100. On the second pass, it had moved and I was certain that someone had picked it up, asked and put it down because of the quote. It continued to move around as I passed by. Before I left though, I had to know. So, I asked the guy behind the table and he asked a woman I assume was his wife sitting beside him. She goes, "he said, 'ten'." And the fella goes, "Ten... but I tell you what, I'll take eight because he left us here to watch his stuff." I had five ones in my pocket and I go, "Eh, I only got five." "Well, I'll take five. Give me five. That'll teach him to leave us here while goes and buys more junk." So, picked up a five buck Surface Troops set and some RiD Vehicons at ten bucks a piece.
Amazon just cancelled my Stratos, Scareglow, and blue aliens (mislabelled as Stratos). So I said screw it, cancelled the rest of my heroes orders from Amazon and ordered a box from Entertainment Earth.
I recently purchased a loyal subject lot on eBay while I had a bonus eBay bucks deal that had the ‘flocked’ versions of the cats, (initially drawn to that style since I had panthor as a kid in the 80s). Am only now noticing that the battle cat doesn’t seem to have yellow stripes. Oh well, I might end up picking up a plastic loyal subject battle cat since I got a few of the 5-pack heman construx sets, both when they were at retail price and on clearance at Walmart.
Nice. I think the flocked ones are Hot Topic exclusives. The plastic versions actually have a lot of sculpted detail when you have them in hand vs looking at them in pictures online, and it was a really nice surprise. I was only going to get Battle Cat but ended up getting Panthor also after having Battle Cat in hand.
Heh, I bought both Cats just before Mega showed pics of theirs. Might swap the noggins though but they work really well.
Meh... again, hype pictures mean nothing when product fails make it to retail. I mean, here: Doesn't mean it's going to make it to WalMart anytime soon.
My collection was joined by Stratos and Scareglow today. Many thanks to @Armageist for selling them to me! Someday, I'll filter out some of the duplicates and store them away somewhere but for now I like having them around to fill up the castle. I've also been planning to design some 3d printed custom heads for He-man and Teela to make them look closer to the cartoon versions but I've been keeping pretty busy with other projects. And a shot from the front along with even more duplicates. Someday I'll get a shelf for these guys - all my current shelves are already covered in toys. [Edit] Looking at the photos, I decided to change up the positioning to make a better looking scene.
Same happened to me unfortunately. If you decide to sell extras of Stratos and Scareglow, I need a pair please!
I don't play that game but I'll buy up sets and those figures hopefully there will be more lady parts for customs. I finished up my blue trooper, yellow ram staff ninja, and took pictures of my old stone beast custom.
As a note, if you order the one case of CoD crates from EE.com it is listed as: But what you'll wind up with [currently] is: Glad to see the Navy figure in there but was really hoping to bolster my Firebreak numbers.
Still trying to track down a Scareglow. At this point I'm kind of chalking it up as a loss tho. I saw one for $29.99 shipped on eBay but I don't need it that badly.
