That one protoform in rotf who's head fell off and then he was still alive and he died.

 

TJ Miller's character's death was pretty horrifying IMO

 

Starscream flailing in agony as his eyes are torn out before a bomb in his head explodes and tears apart his upper torso from the inside

 

Who's had his own voice box ripped out of his throat.

 

Wow these films are brutal. Try to imagine these kind of deaths in any sort of film besides transformers. A creature's spine ripped out from the tail up. A smaller character jumps onto the back of a larger character, hooks into each side of his face, and tears his head in half. Two characters fight and one plunges his hand into the other's back, grabbing his heart, pushing it through his chest from the inside, and crushing it in front of his eyes. Holy shit lmao

 

Anyone else think the Bayformers should be special guest stars in a Mortal Kombat game? Because such brutality (ha!) would fit right in with that series. Too bad Cogman is the only human-sized one (as far as I can remember, at least).

 

It's like in Tron: Legacy, or Beast Wars. They weren't human, so the damage could be a lot more extreme.

 

A kid friendly character in other iterations. Bayverse BB is a savage, way better than Pussy G1 Bee.

 

The positive reception of the first movie by Revenge of the Fallen.

Though not close enough to be brutal, at least Megatron killed the real villain of the series, Michael Bay in the first movie.

On a serious note, a lot of Optimus Prime's victims are pretty brutal. Only Michael Bay could have led us to a point where Optimus Prime has victims...

Onslaught. By no means the most graphic, but he just gave off big and loveable vibes to me. So, seeing him not really do anything in the small-town battle only to be amputated and beheaded by Drift was a bit too much. He even kinda has a bit of a sad look on his decapitated face as his lights go out.

 

Ravage, Que, or Megatron's third

 

Ratchet’s death to me is the most brutal.

Even in death he is offered no respite as his body is melted down. I often equated Prime’s rage (“they slaughtered Ratchet!”) like that of a Military man who has seen the enemy defile the corpse of a fellow comrade.

 

Tron Legacy was different in that the programs shattered into cubes. . .I don't recall Clu 2.0 or any of his henchmen performing the same kind of kills bayformers did. . .With the exception of one of the Black Guard hacking off Quorra's arm, which actually didn't kill her, just knocked her out, since she was an ISO. . .

Also thought of something else, too: it was implied that Clu 2.0 also derezzed Castor/Zuse (who was also an ISO) when the End Of Line Club was blown up. However, there's a little surprise revealed if you watch TRON: Legacy on Blu-Ray with the Second Screen feature when Sam is downloading The Grid to his flash drive near the end of the movie. . . 

 

I'm surprised no one voted for Megatron's death in DotM. The fucker had an axe get buried in his skull, was pinned to the ground, and properly had his head and spinal column torn our in slow motion with red liquid spewing from the hole. Not the mention the wet, boney, "cracks", that coincided with the kill.

That, and the Fallen's face being bloody ripped off were the two instances where I was genuinely turned off by movie Optimus. I wouldn't consider myself to be squimish, but Megatron's death was borderline disturbing just from how unnecessarily brutal it was.

 

I'm more bothered by the reasoning. He asked for a truce and Optimus just took him out. But yeah

 

Yeah, say what you want about robots getting killed but the sight of a man getting charred and turned in a trophy of some kind was a quite sight to see.

 

The top 3 for me is The Fallen, Ironhide, and DOTM Megatron.

I have to go with The Fallen though. “Give me your face” is legendary at this point and is quite possibly the most savage villain death that I can think of.

 

The only death that bothered me at all in the entire series was Ratchet's.

eh, he had it coming. Rat out his friends for money? He needed to die.

 

Am I crazy (which is very possible)or has no one mentioned Shockwave? Ironhide & Ratchet were probably the most excruciating Autobot deaths but Shockwave's definitely had one of the more brutal Decepticon deaths. He literally had his eye torn out.
