Ditto. Did the same thing to MS Huffer and Ultra Magnus and it makes a huge difference.

I am one of the weirdos that like light piping.

Nice one mate - looks so much better in my 'eyes' (yes I went there!!) ;)

Couldn't get my Magnus' eyes out - didn't want to force them too much as I might have left a noticeable mark in one of them.

Might have another go later or over the weekend though.

Nowt weird about that chap - where mine all sit there's not enough light for it to be effective. Those pictures show off how well light piping can work though. :)

My UM was tight too and the spudger did put a tiny divot in the eye. I only pushed it hard enough for the light pipe box on the back of the head to jut a bit and then grabbed that with pliers. However, two coats of gundam marker filled in the divot and it's not noticeable now.

Nice - I used a small not-too-pointy small screw driver for Prime (and Pocket Toys Shockwave, who's eye I went with yellow!), which worked fine and left no mark. Will see what else I've got for UM as I really want him to match with Prime.:)

I seem to recall that when I got it out, there was tiny dab of what looked like glue on the top side. Just FYI.

I would actually love light piping if I always had a good source of light behind my figures' heads and if it didn't make an obvious color difference on the back/top of their heads. But since I usually don't have the right kind of lighting, they just look dead and I don't like seeing a blue spot on the back of a non-blue head so I'd rather avoid them for the most part.

I rarely pose my figures where I can see the back of the head but I get what you are saying. I like it more for photo shoots and I have ran LEDs behind my shelves to give them that look. It has worked out nicely for the most part but sometimes for good shots I have to apply a spot light like I did for the shots above.

MS-01 is my choice for MP Prime, so this little guy is like a mini Masterpiece for my desk. I dig him so much that I want him in multiple colors, like I had the regular, Nemesis, and white versions of the Voyager-scale MP-10 KO. I saw that MS is making him available in white and Shattered Glass so far. Seems weird if they don't do black, since they did MS-01 in black. I'd also love him in Delta Magnus blue, BAPE green camo, and yellow "Shining Ultra Magnus" colors.

Is anyone getting the SG repaint? I really want just the purple axe, if anyone wants to make a couple of bucks.
