Apologies but I just now saw this particular post, and felt the need to reply.

This sorta stuff kinda bugs me me a little bit. People saying stuff like: "I heard such and such because such and such", w/ no source. I'm promise I'm not meaning nor trying to sound confrontational in any way. IT's just can you provide some kind of proof where "they" ("they" being Zeta) actually said this? I'm not going to lie, rumors tend to bug me. They tend to cause so much chaos and pandemonium because most Rumors usually have no merit (though sometimes they prove to be true) Now hey man, If it's true... Hey, that's honestly pretty cool. But I just want the proof more or less for Confirmation. You know what I mean? :)

Though them going back to the drawing board just to make a more massively sized Unicron, I have a feeling it's not going to sell well. Unfortunately most of the people complaining about the size tend to be all the people who never planned on buying him to begin with.

Edit: okay, I just saw your post with the source. Thanks for posting it up man. :thumb

This way if it proves untrue, nobody will attack you for it.

Zeta have removed all mention of Unicron from their Facebook page, quit Twitter, posted a video full of nazi propaganda on YouTube, destroyed the moulds and taken out a full page ad in the local paper apologising to Hasbro for daring to step to them with their tiny imposter. Also the sky is falling and this marks the beginning of the end for all 3p companies. Again.

if zeta really are making this bigger i hope they rework the planet details.. i can wait as long as it takes if they sort that

have to agree about their past stuff having owned their superion it was a bit on the shit site of fit and finish , if you didn't touch it and leave it on the shelf it looked good but as soon as you started to mess with it , it was a nightmare and the individual robot modes meh!! but from the prototype this unicron looks a lot more solid unless and upsizing is a really good move

It's too bad Zeta is giving the US people the shaft and running away as if we all hate the toy. What a bummer.

I really enjoyed the interactions and the photos and videos.

Thanks Overly Entitled and never grateful for anything US fans for ruining everything with the constant bitching and moaning about everything. :(

Well...guess I'll just enjoy them on weibo as per the usual. :lol

In that case, Zeta should just suspend the project until Hasbro Unicron be forgotten.

Giant figures are not fun to handle, let alone transform. Might as well just do a gigantic statue. Would be cheaper. Size and price were enough on the Zeta to keep it in the realm of affordable and playable.

Just going to add a +1 to the "please don't rework this to be bigger" crowd. Even at 18 / 19" I'm thinking "OK but where would I actually display this?" Much bigger than that and it's just right out for me. It's one of the reasons I didn't back the Haslab one (though one of many reasons, folded up like so many panels on a robot's leg.) Also, the bigger it is, the more expensive it'll be, and the $250 to $300-ish price point sounds pretty sweet to me. Plus, like other have said, I actually want to play with this toy, and it's going to be a faff even at 19". I strongly feel that a 27" (or more) toy is one of those "you think you want it until you actually get it" things.

tl;dr: Zeta, if you're still making this at all, please keep it just as is! Maybe release a larger version down the line as well to please those who really want that, but don't delay this one to do so.

Put me in the "keep it at the current size" camp.

Don't do that. It's going to take forever for that rumor to die now. Four pages of posts since last night based on what you "heard."

    People, you are being trolled!
There's no reason to believe zeta is resizing Unicron. There's no reason to believe zeta is cancelling Unicron. Use some damned critical thinking rather than believing and overreacting to every stupid rumor you hear.

As bobby skullface has previously put it, the point isnt to scale Unicron or the city bots. There needs to be an obvious size difference in them to convey this is/ was larger than that. A 19" unicron wont work with 19" combiners and 24" robots like the mp Omega's. The issue here is that this logic poses a potential problem down the road when companies start taking a crack at city bots.

I don't believe anything without confirmation. If Zeta were to indeed make it bigger I don't think it should be that much larger. A head bigger than their combiners is fine by me.

So start buying smaller combiners and city bots. There’s plenty available.

Same. I'd prefer him to still be taller than Zeta's and Toyworld's combiners and maybe even the MPs Omega. He'll obviously never, ever be in scale with most stuff, let alone masterpieces, so him being taller would me more like a symbolic thing

The test shot was molded plastic, which means steel dies have already been cut, one of the most expensive parts of the entire manufacturing process. Ain't no way this thing is changing size.

This was the link to the transformation video one of my friends sent me.

I’d say this is the reason Zeta vanished from western media.
