    Yep.
    Robot mode is good.
Train mode train front is to small. Otherwise everything looks good.
Shuttle mode is his signiture mode. And they ruined it with the horrible back of it.
I guess skip it and go Fanstoys. Which is a bit to long in both alt modes. Otherwise it's a killer.

The irony of you constantly bitching about prices of figures when you have a third party cassette in that photo that’s the size of a battle master that cost $50 is not lost by the way.

A man once said, "sewer rat may taste like pumpkin pie, but I wouldnt eat the filthy MothaFer."
Its ugly in both alt modes. And his Popeye calves in bot mode are hard to look past. If it's your flavor. Good for you. Opinions are like aholes... everyone has one.

Yeah, most of this line basically consist of upgrades on CHUGS figures that most of us already have. But I really had no interest in buying another Astrotrain. So after seeing his 2 alt-modes and the video review doing size comparisons I'm definitely won't be doing anymore Astrotrain upgrades (especially for that price).

My remaining list for 2019 (in no special order):

    1) Mirage (In Amazon shipment purgatory)
    2) Empactor (same as Mirage)
    3) Omega Supreme (Probably later this year)
    4) Ratchet (Whenever he pops up at local Walgreens)
    5) Bluestreak (Waiting on Wal-Mart)
    6) Soundblaster (same as Bluestreak)
    7) Spinister (can't wait!)
    8) Apeface (its saving grace is its Bot mode and that I don't already have a version of him)
    9) Ratbat/Rumble (Only buying the set for Ratbat)
    10) Rung (...maybe)
    11) Powerpunch and Direct hit (I like the set)

*......And maybe 2 more Refractors since I don't like that Reconnaissance Team 3-Pack that much.

I for one can’t wait to ditch the TR version. A gimmick he shouldn’t have, a mediocre ship mode and an absolutely awful train mode. I hope we get a redo of Blitzwing and Octane without the dumb gimmick in part 2 and 3.

Scale comparison of Omega Supreme with Devastator and Predaking:

Edit: On a scale of 1-5 Springers in terms of transformation difficulty, Omega Supreme is like 1.5 Springers.

    Because it's more in-scale than a grossly-oversized TR Astrotrain?

Now that there is Bad ass!

Omega is definitely runner up to Trypticon when it comes to my top Fav Titans. So I might have to grab him sooner! That and I would defiantly buy at least 2 Omega Sentinels as well.

Nice to see Takara Astrotrain next to some Siege bots. He actually looks pretty good with them. I'm weighing whether I want that one or Siege Astrotrain for my collection.

Cool. I'm seriously considering that set.

To each his own, of course, but I recently sold my Legends Astrotrain and I will tell you why.

His articulation sucks, his legs are weirdly proportioned (long calves and short thighs), and I hate the headmaster gimmick. I can live with the space ship mode but the train mode is ridiculous and boring. Also, he has weird feet and the guns with the titan master seats looked awful.

That said, if you like him, there's no reason to buy the new one. I love CW Ultra Magnus and that's why I don't own Siege Magnus. There's nothing about this hobby that says you're required to buy a new version of a toy you're happy with. They release new, different versions in the hopes that people who didn't like the last incarnation will buy this new one.

I can accept what they’re doing with Leader class but come on, I don’t think we’re totally unreasonable with finding these hard to buy at $50. A finely-engineered voyager-sized figure I’m fine with but the extra parts included with Shockwave and Astrotrain just seem pretty limited to justify the extra cost.

I’m critical of the Siege line quite a bit (even here in the appreciation thread) but that’s only because I do think it is a great line with a high benchmark of design and I want to see them keep pushing and maintaining this quality (and maybe move on from such strictly G1 stuff). I never criticized POTP much because I hardly bought or followed much of anything from that line.

I think the new Astrotrain does look leagues better than the TR version. I don't really get the price issues, as the mass and engineering of the extra armor pieces seems roughly equivalent to a deluxe Weaponizer. 29.99 voyager + 19.99 deluxe in rough value of mass/parts count. Not to mention the Siege figues seem to have more mass and better use of said mass than previous lines even at a smaller scale. About the only complaint I can have is that the extra car doesn't form anything but platform shoes and a huge backpack. Would have been kinda cool if it broke down into more armor pieces like Shockwave's did.

But hey, with the negativity, maybe I can scout out buying some extras of the Shockwave armor! Haha

Hoping I can snag a Jetfire on clearance, but otherwise waiting for Mirage and Barricade. Kinda undecided on Impactor. Omega will require some budgeting. Hope to get the Skywarp package and Thundercracker eventually. Only really wanting Slamdance out of the other set.

EDIT: Forgot Ratbat and Rumble. And Ratchet. MY BUDGET SUCKS.

I didn't know that Z sword was out already. How's the quality on it, smooth plastic or 3D printed with lines?
