As the size of the backpack bothers me a lot, especially the bottom part, I'm going to try to make my MP-44 a new, smaller, central part of the backpack. After removing a screw and a pin, it looks like this. Now the central parts of the backpack above and below are removable.

I'm guessing you'd be the first persion to get a replacment kit to replace the top section so that it can flatten out, and have new panels replace the voicebox to cover it up.

I'm just asking because I would want to see if anyone could make a prototype backpack replacement, just to see what it would look like.

That's what you get when you left the Spike and Carly figurines inside the cab.

Apparently the window becomes foggy after my paint renewal session. I made sure to masked the window so it doesnt get cover by top coat and paint. I wonder what went wrong... 20190907_143033.jpg 20190911_213602.jpg

Looks like you got the extra toon specific version where they included truck windows specifically tailored to this frame! Congrats! 1529599584-optimusprime-g1-.jpg

Is it possible to clean them with some sort of surface cleaner? Or are the opacities different from the manufacturing process of the panels?

I know it's all personal opinion, but I am so in love with the S1 head. It photographs so well, and gives so much nostalgic life and personality to the figure. Don't get me wrong, the S2/movie head looks great, too--in fact, it's pretty much a perfect representation of the sculpt. But my Prime is currently being displayed with the S1 head, and I don't anticipate changing it anytime soon.

My Prime still sits in pieces as the knees cure. I'm making sure they're solid before I start putting things together. It has given me time to really take a look at the trailer. You can say what you want about MP-44, but the trailer is THE best Prime trailer I've messed with, blue stripe be damned!

Also, be careful when moving the arms/legs on Spike, Carly, and Sparkplug. Move them very gently and when they do move, gently work the joint until it's loose enough to be moved. The joints on all three of mine were scary-tight.

Did you use alcohol at any point to wipe the toy down? It can fog translucent plastic, and possibly more managed to evaporate near the left window than the right.
