    Oh do they have to be official characters? I really like Animated Megatron. Swords don't always look good when they also have to be helicopter blades... or vice versa the helicopter mode doesn't always look good when the blades also have to be a sword. But Megatron looks good in both modes. It's a very clever use of the parts when done right rather than just hiding the sword inside the vehicle.

    Maybe it's nostalgia blinding my brain, but Star Saber and Dai Atlas take the cake for me.

    RID1 Scourge... though he's not actually any good as a sword user, I just like the character.

    Oddly very few sword wielding characters in Transformers actually use their swords properly. They're convincing enough for kids who just expect to see it being swung around but to anyone that's actually practiced sword fighting of any kind there's more to it than just swing it around randomly and hope you hit something.

    I think only Drift and Windblade actually look convincing with how they use their swords. Maybe movie Optimus but I never really practiced with a broad sword so I'm not as familiar with that style.
