I know you've contributed so much for the communauty and I feel sorry to file you with other questions, but I'm a complete newbie in terms of how to paint a figure. May I ask you what material do you use (with pics please) and I believe the numbers after the Mr Hobby paint are proportions (?) but what does 1/32 stand for ? Thx a lot (again  )

 

True ! Another thing that can scrape the yellow crotch is when you fold the arms back inside the cab. Just have to keep it mind. For the moment I cover it with the given plastic protection.

 

I tossed mine by mistake. But was glad I figured out what was scratching it. At the least now I can protect it. Thanks for telling me about the arms. I would of never thought about that. I may cut out a piece of clear plastic to put over it if I do transform it. Until I can figure out a better way to protect it.

That's unacceptable. I feel horrible for you. Your box is totally destroyed. Does Amazon.jp pay for the return shipping? I hope you'll be able to get a replacement. I had a dent in my MP-44 box, but it doesn't even come close to your damage.

 

I think they usually only handle returns when the actual item is damaged

 

I *love* the season 1 head - I like both, but the S1 head is my favourite, against my expectations. Check back through the past few pages (or run a search on this thread) for posts by @DeanML, as he has posted loads of great pictures using the S1 head. Here's one I posted myself a few days ago:

Amazing figure, I really love it, my favourite masterpiece (MP-41 comming very close)

Great engineering leading to a complex transformation yet intuitive.
The show accuracy gives us a figure with superb shelf presence, boosted by excellent articulation ala mp36/9.
I feel like the 5 year old kid that finally has in hand the Optimus Prime he always had wanted.

Yes the knee can be a problem but there's a fix. I think TT didn't respect the engineers initial thoughts because of production costs. I hope there will be a reissue fixing this issue, but it will be more expensive (unless they also do a figure only item). I will get a second MP-44 eventually ...

My only gripe so far is this way too fragile grey paint around the chest, despite being very careful. Shame

Ps Everyone noticed the final steps back to truck mode are quite challenging. One of the reasons for struggling with the tabs could be when you push in the biceps into the shoulder right in the beginning of the transformation. On one side it's not fully pushed in and it's the most difficult side for me.

 

Maybe he can photoshop a broken figure without actually breaking the figure and show the photo to Amazon. If Amazon.jp formally accepts the return, he'll break the figure the way he photoshopped it and send it back. If Amazon rejects the return, he can keep his unharmed figure. Sounds fraudulent and wrong, but just an idea. The box is part of the product of this price range. It greatly reduces the resale value if it's damaged.
