I seriously don’t understand a lot of people when it comes to these toys!

A hint of kibble = ugh hate kibble
Backpack = hate big backpack
Figure with little to no kibble or backpack = hate skinny figure

I guess things are under the microscope on these forums but can’t we enjoy the good without harping on about the bad?

I think they’ve done a bang on job. These guys are punks and should be skinny. I hope all 4 of them look like this!

 

I am perfectly fine with Roadking's backpack, as i am with Optimus V3 (looks good actually). Was even fine with XTB Toro's backpack... so i guess maybe that disqualifies me... But i didnt like Crackup's backpack, though cant say it really bothered me either so much. XTB Flipout backpack is very good.

 

So far what's been release looks great, I'll consider getting in on this set once they are readily available. I'm not paying ridiculous 2nd hand price because I have all but one figure that is to hard to find.

 

some of us the comments are light hearted well my comment was   i think ft done well with the no backpack and general look of it , if i was not content with my xtb stunticon limb bots and ft motormaster i would buy it

 

I don't think its any better or worse then DX9's Montana. Maybe a color throwing it off?



I've yet to see my figures from behind that would lead me to be bothered by it. I like the clean look, which is why I own Montana and very soon Spoiler.

I am an FT guy, but I do think Montana looks better, however there are known QC issues with that figure.

 

Roadking's back kibble is fine. MP 44 is absolutely bearable. X-Transbots Cliffjumper (can't remember his name) was the only one that was a turn off. Actually had him pre-ordered and had to cancel. Have to say that Takara's Bumblebee's backpack is an abomination as far as I am concerned.

All down to personal taste and preference. It's what makes the world a more interesting place.

 

Just ordered Spoiler from Agabyss, I'll see if I like him enough to go in on the rest of the set. I've already got all the XTB ones so far. Thinking FT will be my bot/alt modes while XTB is my Menasor. Or I may just sell my XTB before they fall apart LOL. I've only transformed Crackup thus far.
We shall see...

 

I agree. Roadking is one of the most amazing figures I've ever seen. Absolutely amazing. If the other four come any where near this I'll be a happy collector. Now all they need to do is give the Predacons a go. Can you imagine what Fans Toys can do with them!?
