I do not understand why we keep getting butt ugly clear plastic insecticon repaints while there\'s literally no full modern set of the Diaclone/eHobby decos of them.
I mean COME ON they have a way better deco than these shitstains.

 

Passing on the translucent versions... and looking most forward to the Diaclone decos.

Newage promised the clear vans would have tougher plastic than their previous clear bots. Any word on whether that applies to the bugs? As the owner of a very distressed-looking clear Porsche Shockwave, I'm leery of any more clear purple plastic.

 

Don't do translucent but with a vaction in 1,5 week Newage can do as much translucent as they want so I can recuperate from the money I will be spending.

And it seems there are people who really like these translucent ones. Maybe as ghost for their Transformers/Ghostbusters display? They may look good with the correct lighting.

 

According to their post on Weibo, these are "Ion Storm 2" giveaways.

 

So basically the same as the Ion Storm Cosmos that can't be bought threw the regular channels. Think a few members on this board are going to be royally pissed off.

Who is being hurt by having more options? In what world is a variety of decos NOT cool?

Just because it doesn't appeal to you personally doesn't mean that it won't be the coolest thing ever made in someone else's eyes.

Hell, NA's Taxi redeco of their Ratchet is one of my personal favorite figures released so far this year... literally a figure I didn't even know I wanted!

 

Toon-version strippers are cool, but those translucent ones are a waste of dolla bills.

 

I wasn't interested in all the NewAge variants before, but the troop building nature of the Insecticons has me treating these like Star Wars clonetroopers. Every variation is a new group. I love it.

 

Well, as a Legends collector, I'm more inclined to visit the itty-bitty titty bar...

 

I got my set in and they’re spectacular. I won’t go into detail since others have, but these are must-haves for any legends collector.
