I hope we at least get a teaser trailer of the Netflix TF series during NYCC.

Watched most of season 2 already on Fios Verizon and it looks pretty good from animation and story perspective.

That's my prefered take on Shockwave; he doesn't care about the war or what side he's on as long as they let him experiment.

And don't forget the Shredder made jokes about Stockman being a floating brain and eyeball in a jar.

Between this and Steven universe it seems alot of cartoons are using time skips.

"Insane In The Membrane" is one of the most messed up episodes of children's TV in existence, and the only reason it was pulled off the airwaves was because of a staff changeover at Fox.

Yep, and I’m glad they ultimately got to release a more or less complete cut of the episode on the season sets

...i think hasbro's putting some purposeful breathing room between war for cybertron, the new live-action film series, and cyberverse such that viewers can kind of squint their eyes and infer that they're all different eras in the same continuity, even if they're really not: they're leaving a bit of ambiguity for interpretation...

Can the Netflix series already come out? We are in desperate need of a good Transformers show.

I liked it. Bonus points for having Starscream run through the entire rolodex of excuses, blame-shifting, and eventual begging he's ever spouted throughout the beatdown. It makes the final attempt at escape all the more serious as Screamer realizes Megatron wasn't going to stop this time.

Equally good though was the setup for Starscream's attempt at a coup through flashback.

Just managed to watch it and yeah, I agree. That beating Megatron gave Starscream was BRUTAL. Really surprised me that they decided to go with it. Probably one of the most vicious depictions of this happening in a Transformers show.

As with season 1 I continue to be surprised by how much I'm able to enjoy this show.

This was kind of a mess in the service of moving the pieces to set up the new season, which makes me sad.

Starscream seems like he is probably going to face more of a beating once his poweredu p version is defeated.

Woah woah woah, hold up. Several decades have passed between Season 1 and 2? Well, alright then. Did not see that coming...

huh? where are you getting decades from? unless its in a later episode, i dont believe ep 1 ever sets a solid amount of time that has passed since season 1

The YouTube description for the first episode says that it has been "several decades since the events of season 1," or something to that effect.
