That reminds me of when that YouTuber guy got copyright strikes for having Megalovania and two Mario RPG songs and had them with Smash banners. Considering that Sans became a costume with Megalovania with it, along with thr fact that each Square character only got two songs each (two for each hero variant) then there's only two explanations!!!

One: Geno is the last fighter
Two: Geno costume with thr songs.

Geno's gotta be a fighter this time. Sakurai himself has wanted Geno to be playable since Brawl.

 

Ehh.. to me Geno just isn't important enough.

 

I'm half and half on this. I'm in Australia: Super Mario RPG did not exist in Australia. Or Europe. Basically it was only ever released in Japan and NA so most of the world haven't played the game, unless they picked it up on the Virtual Console

But my years with Smash Bros stuff has shown me people absolutely love that series, and its been a constant request ever since Melee's days, even when getting Sonic in the game was considered an impossibility

 

Smash fans ask for anything. But the simple fact of the matter, Geno really has no gaming history to pull from. Almost every fighter ether has a detailed history themselves, or their series does. Geno is just... a nothing. A Nobody. Hell I'd bet you 90 percent of the people begging for him couldn't tell you anything more than "he was the Awesome puppet from SMRPG."

This is the exact argument people were making against Banjo.

But hey, some numbers are coming in from Twitter stuff showing the so-far popular ones, plus various folks have started a poll to see what people want

The fact that gundam is on there is dumb. It's an anime, thus Goku should be on it.

 

I want Chrono, Rex & Pyra (or Mythra), and Zero to be added.

 

What? Why? Banjo and Kazooie have 3 whole games they're the main characters of. Geno's was only ever a side character in a single rpg game. You'd think that people would also ask for Goombella or Kooper from the Paper Mario series, considering they have the same level of impact on the overall Mario series.

Since we got an update, I need to ask. What were the spirits between Banjo Kazooie and the Tetris blocks? I think I missed an event somewhere....

Yeah, with Luigi's Mansion 3 this weekend I would say no. And aren't the DLC usually released Tuesday or Wednesday? I'm pretty neutral on Terry. More looking forward to the next batch. So many different rumors. Really hoping for one of Crash/Spyro/Master Chief.
