Wow that's a double whammy. I hope you do eventually get them and that it was worth it in the end. How long have you been waiting for that other Prime?

    Same here!

It's been "in preparation" for a week. It took a couple of days to get there after they took my payment.

He scales better with the MPM cars than MPM4 does, not sure if he's still too small...
    What's that from?

Who would've thought that MPM Prime's legs basically straight forward to form, being hand-me downs from ROTF Leader, while MP Convoy's boxy legs are almost a jigsaw puzzle.

That's kinda what annoys me. More quality engineering is going into the far more simplistic-looking characters. Movie verse characters + G1MP-level of engineering = match made in heaven.

I hate to break it to you, but it’s unlikely a lot of people are willing to pay $400+ on a Movie Masterpiece figure that incorporates some ridiculous mass shifting transformation.

Thunder Leader is as good as it gets for the time being.

I don't think Hasbro cares that much about movie characters. It seems they'd much rather put their effort into the G1-esque designs.

It’s more Takara that’s making the designs. Hasbro just benefits from the partnership (haslab Unicron being an exception).

I see. I thought Takara only did the paint, not the engineering, but i stand corrected.

    My point still stands though.

    I would!

... If I haven't bought 4 or 5 trucks before hand. And only if regular size.

True, but there’s also quite a few people who aren’t willing to pay that price for MP-44 either. But yeah, it’s kinda sad the MPMs don’t seem to get equal attention.

I still think MPM Prime could’ve been so much better if they ignored the matrix gimmick, or just redesigned the figure from the ground up instead of taking ROTF leader class cues like @sadsfas said

Have any of you heard/read about any info on when the next batch for ShowZstore might arrive? Supposedly it's expected this month, but I read that in August.

On 8-31-19 they told me end of the month which would have been 9-1-19 for them.

Like I said, cab legs for prime. And also a wrist tilt to allow him to hold his swords at an angle. And I'd also like to see a deep ab crunch on a new prime.
