It’s just explained by the time skip itself, they decided to skip the whole robots in disguise part of the story and jump to humans knowing about the war. It’s like when young justice does their time skips in between seasons

 

Yeah, but young justice didn't leave it a cliff hanger.
I would like more to know what happened at the battle when optimus and others woke up, and how the nemisis ended up where it was for the Decepticons.
The rest made sense, that just jilted me a little.

 

Season 2 of young justice ended on a pretty big cliffhanger with the coda of savage meeting with darkside

 

True, I forgot that. And then season 3 didn't happen for a long time

 

Yep, would have been a good finale without that last scene, but as it was I was very unhappy with that finale

 

The Aussies are going full steam ahead with the episodes at this rate they will overtake the US next week. Here's the 5th and 6th episodes Trials and Dark Birth.

Next Saturday has the episode 07 Parlay and 08 Starscream's Childern listed and Sunday has 09 Spotted and 10 Secret Science.

 

Can anyone help me catch up by seeding a couple of the lodestone torrents, I just need to finish episodes 8, 10 and 11 please, pretty please  .

I never took the wake-up fight as a genuine cliffhanger, just "okay we've set up the premise, both armies are fighting on earth." We skip ahead in S2, but really just to "Megatron has some wacky G1-esque scheme involving a giant laser, just another day in the ol' war we saw set up"

It looks like they've already aired the first 12 episodes on weekends before (as the next Saturday shows episodes 13-14 and Sunday - 15-16, 17-18 will premiere on 17th), so all of those episodes might already be on Cartoon Network's Australian website. We just need someone who's either there or can use Australian IP to test that theory.

 

I'll check when im home from work to see if they are available. Dont know why nine and cartoon network are both showing it in Aus seems a bit counter productive

 

Nope no luck doesn't even have it listed as one of their shows seems nine have the streaming rights for their nine go app shame. I'll keep an eye on it and see if they come up eventually but im willing to wait.

I also checked any other english speaking countries that i could and no one had any more episodes.
