I'm torn.

I'm TOTALLY getting this. But I dont know whether to try and sell my blue custom (probably impossible to do now that this is coming) and get a purple one for my S3/4 shelf, or keep the blue one for that role.

He looked pretty blue in Japanese headmasters but more purple in S3.

 

Whether his thighs were white or grey (which I think varies on what you watch) I think it's more important that they match.

My question is were they simply placeholders and not actually available to put in carts yet? That's typical as vendors don't necessarily know how many they can get when a figure is first announced. Also, sometimes they only put up a few available and cut it off until they know for sure then add availability when they know.

Btw a preorder on Sunday close to midnight is a dick move too. Got the email this morning from toydojo. Got it from someone else. Not throwing shade at toydojo but timing of preorders was fucking bullshit

Fans toys wasn’t the purpose of this company to service fans of transformers not playing games with their releases. I’m sure the retailers had nothing to do with the fucked up late ass Sunday night preorder. Middle of the night type deal.

Huh? What on earth are you talking about? Dalianjj announced the figure at 9.30am on a Monday morning and preorders went up over the course of that morning.
Nothing was done at midnight on a Sunday!

Already sold out on Taobao. It's been sold out out there since about 11pm EST last (Sunday) night. Run a search for FT-16M and still nothing comes up. If not for the actual LBP link @minstral provided then I wouldn't have even been abpe to capture this screenshot.

It's the same shenanigans as with the FT-29T preorders. We're being forced to pay NA full retail for these big bot repaints.
I'm getting concerned that this may be the case if/when FT does G2 repaints for the Stunticons and Aerialbots.

This is bad because I don't remember going through this with FT dino repaints. Those were quite easy to get on Taobao.
