    I recently unpacked and tested my old Rom space knight toy after several years. After nearly 40 years he still works. He is not complete and is loose but having lights and sound still working is something. 0908191105.jpg 0908191100.jpg

    I still have an old spaceship from when I was a kid named Starbird that has lights and sounds for lasers, and a reactive sound for raising the front of the ship up or dipping it down. Still works, and was made in 1978.
    It's currently in the attic at my mother's, but the only piece I'm missing is the tiny gun from the top:

    Meanwhile companies like Hot Toys sell figures for hundreds of dollars and can’t figure our how to do electronics properly lol
