Watched Bumblebee recently and was blown away by the opening sequence on Cybertron. The VFX team really nailed the look and feel of the G1 characters.
Would love to have seen Megatron, leading the Deceptacons in battle. This is a take on what he might have looked like in that style. I referenced Gerald Blaise's incredible Optimus Prime model while working and tried to stay within Megatrons original G1 character lines and limit the form and detail shapes to those frequently used in 80s scifi.

I love the helmet and the details on his shoulders. He looks like he could have actually been in the movie.

That's a very good likeness to Megatron, especially with some of the helmet details, though I'm not sure if it should be broken up a bit more. It's hard to tell at times and I'm certainly no expert on concept art. The face has got the right amount of detail as to flow together nicely without overwhelming the viewer. I do wonder if he could smile or frown though. Granted at the point, you're entering the domain of rigging and posing. Still this is an amazing piece and the materials help to sell this.

The old Buckethead looks awesome here. It would be nice to see him looking like this in the next Knightverse movie.
    Knightverse: Superior
    Bayverse: Inferior
    Couldn't resist.
