I saw that part in a preview. It definitely left a mark on her considering the fact that she had nightmares afterwards.

 

Well, here we go again, but am I the only one that looked at that hilarious Who-The-F*ck!? alleged "source" for the RDJ rumor and immediately discounted the entire thing?

I just don't like Brie Larson or captain marvel, nothing to do with politics the actress is MILDLY annoying and the character was boring in her debut movie. Though I liked her a little better in endgame she was still kinda boring. So yeah nothing political I just don't like the actual actress or character for legit reasons. Keep in mind I found t'challa boring in black panther but awesome in IW, so if done right even she could be likable, they just need to stop trying to force her on us and let her evolve naturally.

 

Well bear in mind, she is up against America's ass...

I doubt I'm the first to say this but after watching end game multiple times I feel like only one thing is missing.

The funeral scene could have been at dusk and various ships could have appeared in the sky. They would do a light show like the Ravagers in GOTG2. Pepper or Morgan would say what's that? And someone (maybe Strange) would say A greatful universe.

 

It would need to be Danvers or one of the Guardians that said that, since they would have been the only ones to have spread the news past Earth (that anyone would listen to, at any rate...)

 

I would pick Drax out of the Guardians. Either way other planets would have noticed two snaps on the same planet as the first, it wouldn't take long.

 

But Tony wasn't a member of the Ravagers. So why give him a Ravager Funeral?

 

The Grand Masters ship did a light show intended for his birthday. It's not specific to the Ravagers. I said various ships meaning from many places and groups.

 

Because he saved the entire universe?

 

Meh I think the funeral was fine as it is.

 

I'm just thinking of silhouettes of ships and some muted lights, not some jub nub or whatever happened in Jedi. The draw for me is the line flipping Thanos' goal.

 

These videos are great but I'm surprised he didn't reference the decision to completely paint over him with CGI. If I had gone threw some of those throws and wire pulls, in costume, in Atlanta in the summer no less, and they decided to just use me as reference material I'd be a little pissed. But then again why burn bridges

 

The funeral for Tony was perfect. Yondu’s funeral was perfect. Just because both were perfect doesn’t mean one has to ape the other.

 

Not the intent. Again, the draw is the line that flips Thanos' goal. We'll think of another way for a greatful universe to signal respect even though one has been established. Anyway, it was a surrounding thing in gotg and they would be seeing it very differently from the dock. It's not that I wanted more flowers sent I wanted the rhyme complete of Tony ending up with a thankful universe and the lights could make that idea take shape in a couple sentences.

 

Every major living hero of the MCU from each and every franchise within the setting attended Tony’s funeral to pay tribute. That’s what I call a grateful universe, and they don’t have to spell it out for us by using the quote. Show, don’t tell.

 

The heads of MCU post-IS are Carol, T’Challa, and Sam (RIP Peter). To be fair, Peter likely wasn’t going to feature in pretty much any of Phase 4 besides maybe What If. 3 was probably due in 2022 anyway. Surely they’ll cap off Phase 4 with an event movie which they’re keeping under wraps since they didn’t like that the announcement of Infinity War and Endgame sucked a lot of air out of the hype for the then-upcoming AOU, which also probably soured some of its reception in a “hurry up and get to Thanos” way.
