Weighing in on the weight issue (no pun intended  ) but I'm thinking this could be in pounds. Gabriel is around 6-7KG with very little die cast. Constructor is easily this weight with no die cast - although there are six individual bots. Zeta's combiners are made up of 1KG limbs and 2KG or so KG bodies (incl. the pants). I can feasibly see this guy being 9.3 KGs. Die cast in the feet, shoulder joints, groin and possibly in other areas we can't see in current photos.

That would make shipping this thing a huge cost

The more I see of this the more sold I am on it. Frankly it pisses all over HasLabs in all but planet mode and that maw goes some way to fixing that. All I hope is that they make the rings/wings larger/project further in planet mode. I'd like to see more busy/asymmetrical detailing like that on HasLabs but I'd happily do without it for a superior robot mode and a more manageable size and price. I guess what will clinch it is how it looks with the final deco.

I totally get why for some people he is too small. If you collect MP style combiners, or titan class Transformers this not being bigger than them does present an issue. I don't, this guy is going to be a stand alone piece for me. He's still going to be the biggest Transformer I have or am ever likely to have....I'm not really 'big' on big Transformers or combiners...so for me he works.

- full of sharp edges, be careful

- considering whether to make head detachable

 

There is loads of Diecast Joints holding this sucker together, so nobody should have to worry about breakage. There's also Diecast bits under the main feet so he'll be super Stable in bot mode. I'm mean the fact he can hold a high kick pose without falling over is pretty cool.

Also, I reeeeeeeeeeeally love attention to the insides detailing of Unicron's Inner core (stomach) and his Brain module which allows him his gift of Foresight.




This is one of those types of toys where Buying just one isn't going to be enough. To show off all of the cool features, you'll def need more than one.

 

I can't wait to feed my mini Galvatron (XTB Abbadon that came with Eligos) to him!!

 

The only literal things I really hate about this thing as I've been saying from the get go is the wings and his head. totally inaccurate to the movie model same with the way his back is designed. and I'll keep saying it. They need to go back and fix those.

This thing is going to be amazing I can feel it in my bones. Ab posability, double joints, accurate back design. inner chest based on his actual heart from the film! So good.

I think your eyes need checking. no joke, sorry. It's actually NOT accurate. Not even close. Look harder.   (even the red lower back panels are incorrect. the butt plate is incorrect. It's all incorrect.) Apparently you can't see the rocket booster portions sticking out the back. nor do you notice the rocket boosters under the shoulder blade plating.
