Turns out that mice chewed the wiring inside the car. $200 repair.

 

Warranty doesnt cover mice? Shocked.

Hey, mods, can we please get it frontpaged that Hasbropulse now has these for preorder? Seriously, how else are we to know about this?
35$ as before, preorder by Sep 29, ships 2020 February.
Anyone knows how I can make Hasbropulse inform me about such things? Why don't they have a newsletter?

I find it funny they are listed as Generations Selects Piranacon -2 and 3, despite the japanese names.  

 

Would be very nice to have a list of preorder stores for these, but especially a warning about this limited pre-order window. I was waiting for BBTS to fix their issue with these and the first pre-order window ended at Hasbro Pulse. Now it seems they're sold out everywhere.

Even if the pre-order window on Hasbro Pulse for the first wave of Seacons ended already, can anyone (be it a single customer or a third party dealer) still pre-order them from Takara directly? I feel this is especially relevant if you can't pre-order from Hasbro Pulse or need to put in your order later on (be it due to locality and/or personal circumstances).

 

i believe takara tomy mall only ships to japanese addresses so you would either have to use a forwarding service or an unaffiliated site like tfsource and others

Huh, interesting. Well, that's fair enough, can't say I'm surprised. However, a lot of people seem to believe that a God Neptune repaint is in the cards for Takara. Is there any official confirmation, or at least a strong implication of such? Some people seem to think that God Neptune's components appearing in a promo comic for the Seacons would suggest that a redeco is planned. I suppose this would give people who cannot get the Seacons a second chance to obtain these figures, if they don't mind the different colors, since the toys themselves should still be functionally the same. If UW Baldigras/Ruination is anything to go by, a hypothetical God Neptune could even include additional/better accessories from the initial release of the figures, since presumably, Takara needs a way to coax some fans to double dip on the original set and the redecos.

 

Ironically, the original God Neptune had LESS accessories than the Seacons. Even one less member. So having a God Neptune set WITH all of the accessories AND a new teammate would be great to me.

 

Not to be "that guy", but being in one of the TT comics does not guarantee a toy... good examples are the autobot targetmasters and "bludgeon from TR hardhead"...  

 

The biggest implication of a bw2 god Neptune repaint is that tentakil is based on the female moonracer mold

 

Well the going assumption seems to be that a God Naptune redeco will include a Nautilator equivalent as a new member and all the accessories intact, since we presume it would be economically silly for Takara to "neuter" a redeco set and annoy fans who would get the short end of the stick in getting such a "neutered" release. Would you buy such a set if you missed out on the original Seacons? Or would you go out of your way to pay aftermarket prices for the original Seacons then?

Well, Halfshell had as much prominence in the comic as Turtler, so I guess people took it as a sign that he and his group will get figures, since the work to put them out is practically completed with the original Seacons themselves. But as you say, being featured in story media doesn't gurantee a toy. It would be dumb from an economic standpoint, IMO, for Takara to not put out a God Neptune set though.

 

The robot head does seem gender ambiguous enough to pass for male or female. IMO, though, I don't really see much difference between male or female robots. If Hasbro or Takara is so inclined, they will make a "masculine" robot female and vice versa.

 

Yes, but tentakils bw2 repaint, scylla, was explicitly a female character whereas tentakil is always presented as either male or a drone
