I asked as I couldn't tell since I don't have Jetpower Prime in hand yet, and my Battle Tanker is combined with Nemesis and in storage.

Glad to see the arm pieces can be used that way.

 

One of my shoulders wasn't as insanely tight as they generally seem to be, so one arm can old the massive gun in any position you'd want, but the other arm has some positional limitations on when it'll support the gun's weight. Sounds like mostly an issue no one else has had, but for what it's worth

 

I wonder if there's any chance of them releasing the unarmoured bot by itself. Personally I think the robot mode can hold its own. Plus their original Ginrai bot is hard to find.

 

And really expensive when you do... I got a GREAT deal from a board member, but still had to purchase a full takara ginrai set and have it shipped from the other side of the world. Still cheaper than the last time I saw it on eBay for >double original price.

I love this cab bot, but cant justify paying for a trailer i dont want that no one would buy without the cab.
Now you know how they REALLY kill with this? Re-tool it again to try and keep this look as much as possible while adding back in the TR trailer combination instead of the jet-box trailer. I know theyre really far apart in design functionally, but that would be the Perfect Effect.

I am still iffing and uffing on this guy as a Gilthor stand-in, given there's basically nothing close out there at the moment and he is a pretty heavily armed Prime with dark colours. Just dunno how he looks with WFC Prime given he's my latest in the Primes I've got kicking around

I actually have my Optimus us the Siege toy's gun. Works well in normal mode, though it doesn't really work in super mode.

 

I hope they do. I will buy one to display solo if they do.

 

Eff it, just decided to pick one up from ShowZ before the new deco drops. Pretty soon I'll have a shelf full of Jetfire Primes and no place to display them  

 

I feel like a broken record saying this, but suspend them from the ceiling

 

It's a toss up between that and getting another display case. My biggest fear is an unintentional separation resulting in a crash landing

I wouldn't deny that Henkei OP is no longer the coolest OP at that scale, but what you are seeing there is the KO version which is quite different from the original at least in terms of window coloring, etc.

 

No, that's the Evolution 2 pack version that came with an Evasion Mode movie Prime. Totally legit. I just wish his right shoulder worked right - the mold degradation on this one is strong!

 

Yep!, I have that one as well, and the original release. The Evolution 2 pack also seems to be of a cheaper plastic. What I did was disassemble the 2 primes and mixed and matched the parts to get the best look and strength  . I added the Blue chest piece/windows to my Evolution Prime as I preferred the chrome truck grill and legs that he came with, along with some other joint related parts.

 

Yeah, I think this is going to be my main Optimus for a while … The Ion Cannon that came with Jinrai Prime works well with the basic robot.

 

Soooooo, I don't know if anyone has realized this yet, but those jet engine nose cones come right out to reveal 5mm weapon ports. They are NOT glued in. I got the idea when I saw their new God Ginrai paint version. So yeah, I'm good perfect effect, thanks anyways.

Attached are parts from Make Toys Battle Tanker and Siege Jetfire. Jetfire's rifle is perfect for this, as it handles can swivel up and down.
