The H2 was GM, which they in particular had a deal with. Maybe Hasbro didn't want to pay another license fee for a vehicle not actually in the film.

I'm not here to stir the Hasbro vs Takara debat pot.....buuuuuuuut, the proof is in the puddin', right?

I returned my DISASTER of a Hasbro Longhaul last week, and pulled the trigger on a $45 shipped Amazon.jp Takara Longhaul. Thought, why not? Let's see if there's a difference.

OMG it's night and day difference. lol

Granted, I still had to remove the two hand screws, which allows the sides to compress properly, but as for the rest, IT'S A BRICK! See for yourself.









Also notable, the waist clicks and rotates perfectly. Zero bobble.

So I'm not saying to run out and spend the extra money, but I am saying, there STILL is a difference (for the better) with Takara versions.

P.S: I tried positioning this better lol but I don’t have a stand and megatrons too heavy and just falls off prime haha, but it’s supposed to be a reverse of the movie 1 scene where Optimus rides megatron in his plane mode. I don’t gave the mpm 8 so I couldn’t make the scene with him. Alsoooo that paper towel is Optimus’s cape, he’s Super-Cybertronian
