So, people are reporting yellowing in IT-01?? how is THF behaving in that scenario?? I like IT because it has more die-cast, the extra cannon and the back panel, but it if its soo hard to get one (I've ordered it 4 times and got scammed 3, while the last one is crappy) I might end up going with THF's

 

For what it's worth, I don't have yellowing on mine and I've had it for about a year now.

 

Yellowing? First I've heard of it. Mine still looks fine fwiw.

 

I can confirm I have some yellowing on mine around the grey joints and the parts around the wrists, pretty much the grey parts that are not painted. Unless you look closely you wont notice. I even asked my wife and she just thought it was meant to be have a few different tones of grey.

There’s a straight up KO, that does this, except I think the faces were a bit wonky on some. And Magten, which has a nice silver color & red thighs.

Mine slightly yellowed and I had it since Jan 2018.  

How is that Daban KO MP-36? I don't see any reviews on it and ShowZ is already sold out of it.

 

I think its personal taste and what you plan on doing with the figure. IT's was given high regard because it held up better and together in gun mode, even over the official. THF came in about second. The decos differ too and come with different accessories. IT focused on toon accessories. THF had the toy deco head and chest.

I want to touch on quality but it seems like every time this thread gets bumped, someone is saying something about IT or THF both good and bad. On top of that, I'm not sure if someone KO IT's and passing as their own because of the reports of getting plastic parts versus the die cast. IT had focused on accessories being omitted, not material going into the figure.

On the actual KO, it never held light to IT and THF but maybe like MP Hot Rod or any other KO'd figured, it improved over time. I found myself going KO Soundwave over THF and whoever the other company was because the reviews between them were all over the place. I had one KO Soundwave that was complete crap, though Laserbeak was actually good. Then I had the opposite happen on the 2nd KO Soundwave I bought. Go figure but if I can make a point here, as of today, I think your rolling dice on which ever direction you go and you may need to buy multiples to get the one your happy with.

 

What decal did you use for the Decepticon symbol?

 

How do you activate IT01's ab crunch? Finally got him but I don't dare push further. It seems as though he can't crunch. Anyone know how?

Edit: No need! I figured it out after watching Darth Deuces review on Youtube! Whew! Close one!

 

Just requires more pressure. It scared all of us our first time but the ab crunch is there.

 

You phrased it like it's an IT01 initiation process all owners must undertake. Cool!
