The second batch of Seacons are up for preorder at ID if anyone’s waiting for them.

Good morning from me and from this beefy boi.

This is the Real Grade Sazabi. Probably spent a good eight hours on him already and he isn't even finished. Still got to build the backpack and all the accessories before I even think about panel lining, detailing and applying the sheet of waterslide transfers I have on the way. To give you an idea of the complexity, each foot has nineteen parts and there's a two-step ab crunch in there.

Yikes. Hope they weather the storm safely. Reminds me to get myself one of those murderwipe kits.

Fuck. Can't like that. Hope you find replacement parts soon dude.

Oh damn. The anticipation and excitement has enlarged by a degree of 3.

If towline is THE underrated 2007 autobot, wreckage is his decepticon counterpart. The original and the bludgeon redeco are awesome.

I wonder what aquatic adventurers Hasbro could potentially drop on us? Commander class tidal wave? Octopunch? Perhaps a new broadside?

Nice. Sunstreaker is about to be skewered. :p

    Hehehehe. Willies.
Word is that brunt had to get his dong painted orange fit safety concerns. It's a weapon of ass destruction.

And already sold out by the looks of it.

Heck, I wouldn't mind if it was only a Seawatch and/or Power Run & Strikedown! Give me more aquatic androids! Oooh, wait! Nautica's a sub isn't she?
    One, two, three, four!
We demand bots not ashore! :p

Actually Powerrun & Strikedown are the more likely candidates aren't they, given the micromaster combiners are making a come back? I'm totally cool with that :D

    Right?!

Ok, that is seriously impressive! I'm still not a fan of the cartoon accurate aesthetic MP has gone down, but man...deco's aside, that looks how I always dreamt of my MP collection looking.

And that's on a good day.

Yeah, I'm really enjoying it too. It barely feels like an X-Men comic, but then that's true of Grant Morrison's run too, and I loved that. Don't tell Claremont, but the high concept stuff was always better than the soap opera. I look forward to seeing where it all goes.

Cheers dude. Glad to hear that Impactor is as solid and enjoyable as I hoped. Shame about Mirage's legs.

    What a boi!

But I just spent £80 on an obscure record. What terrible timing. Still I better go put my order in before they...

    ...tits.

    He's put his dong away.

I think Triggerhappy still stands atop for me out of all the TR/LG toys I bought. It was such a standout wow moment - followed closely by Kup and Topspin and Sky Shadow, also Wheelie. What a period that was, bangers in every wave.

    BOX (well..card) SAYS WHAT?!

    Entry 4: G1 Bumblebee

Pre-rub Bumblebee’s transformation instructions (and artwork) show a bar-shaped sticker above the Autobot logo, that’s a Takara Micro Change Series sticker that pre-TF Bumblebee had, not removed for stock pics but removed for the toy.

Triggerhappy and Topspin must have had the same lead designer, with the insane but satisfying twisty spinny business. Absolute classic.

But to me the standout moment from Prime Wars was PotP. While CW had quantity and TR had quality, PotP was wild and inventive. Just irks me it was cut short. I blame the leak.

I think they really wanted to get to Siege in time for the 2018 Christmas market and that, actually, we got as much as they planned to do. Still a bit of a shame. Could have been a cheaper/easier way of getting the other Seacons.

Brunt plans to do wrong with his retractable dong.

Titans Return is peak CHUG for me. Although Siege is elbowing its way to the top of that particular hill.

Yeah, definitely felt a bit short changed in terms of Leader class cons and primemaster figures.
Considering Siege has managed to have combiner limbs and has a Titanmaster coming up, who knows, maybe we will see some POTP style going ons (Come on Leaderclass Thunderwing)

Admittedly, my Siege experience is limited to Sideswipe, Prime, Magnus, Micromasters and Hound - but do you feel there are as many genius moments of design in Siege? I'm thinking TR Kup's legs, all of Trigger and Topspin, the legs of Sky Shadow etc, those - I suppose what I used to call 'Masterpiece Moment' level of mindblowing solutions.

on reflection, i think you might be right - SIEGE has a WOW factor, but i'd agree TR had smarter engineering- the only fly in that ointment is Astrotrain, whose SIEGE tooling looks night and day better than the TR repaint of Sentinel..

Thats odd, because honestly my experience has been the opposite. I have found the 'wider TF community' to be pretty petty and ready to complain and stamp on other people opinions very fast, while the 40K/gaming community to be more open and friendly. I guess its just the circles we keep to.

Put me down as another fan of Wreckage/Bludgeon. It can be fiddly to get back into IFV mode but its such a good vehicle and the robot is really expressive. I had mine alongside Botcon Flak and they work so well together..... Now I really want Wreckage again....

I'm sure that also played a big part, a case of cutting their losses and having a bit of a rebrand to refresh the line. But the leak that had the entire range of PotP was so damning, I can't imagine the higher-ups were at all pleased that their secrets were out in the wild.

Can't remember where I got the idea from, so it might be bollocks, but wasn't there supposed to be three unique leader moulds in Siege? And so far we've only seen two. Yeah, I'd go nuts for a new Thunderwing.

Good question. I don't know if I would say Siege has many 'genius' moments, but rather it has impressed me by giving us solid versions of some classics characters. I would say there is definitely a strong level of satisfaction in how well Shockwave transformers, and Springer certainly has some rather lovely engineering in his legs. Plus oodles of fun to be had with Cog, Sixgun and Brunt (I assume, I haven't got him yet :( )

But Titans certainly had some excellent designs - as well as giving us a beavy surprizing figures.

He's been at the Viagra infused Nucleon again hasn't he?

Shockwave, Ultra Magnus/Prime and Astrotrain is your three - but who knows? I was messing around with TR Skyshadow and Dai Atlas last night actually and thought I'd be happy enough with a Select Series remold of Sky Shadow with a Thunderwing noggin.

Edit - and while we are speaking about the Prime Wars lads, isn't LG Star Convoy due to be launching this month? Can't wait for that.
