Same exact feels. Like i can still keep that BBTS order and grab him now from DoeJoe but my thing is I don’t open them anyways so what’s the rush right? I guess i just like knowing i have em sitting on that shelf with the rest of the MPM’s

Some of you actually keep your transformers in their packaging? I didn’t know people did that in this hobby I thought all the fun was taking them out and transforming/posing.

Some people have different preferences of collecting. Some of us like to break them open, play with them and pose them around, while MISB collectors (mint in sealed box) prefer to keep them sealed in their plastic prisons for what I assume to be for display purposes (and perhaps investment). I'm personally still getting around to understand it but hey, if it makes people happy I'm game. :)

I make sure all my figures get opened, but I've returned a few in package simply because I like it being displayed that way.
HA Jazz because HA packaging is so cool, and ROTF Long Haul because seeing it boxed brings back some nostalgia from my childhood.

Aren't MPMs way less satisfying for a MISB collector since you can't see the actual figure? Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy the box? Definitely not trying to offend, just genuinely curious about MISB collecting habits.
Yeah didn't mean to call out anyone specifically, especially a new person (welcome!) I've just been surprised at how few people actually look at the review threads and I like to remind people every so often.
I CAN tell! They're always fun to me. You don't have hightower yet?
I preordered the G1 Prime/SS38 Prime two pack from Takara recently and I intend to display them MISB. The first time I'm gonna do that. The retro packaging is just too good, and plus I already have both those molds.

Yeah I mean to each their own. I know there are a lot of other collectibles that people keep in packaging but for these I figured everyone took them out to enjoy.

    Well... Damnit.

I was playing around with my new Jetfire. I had a lot of trouble getting him lined up properly in jet mode -- nothing would peg in right! However, I got it close enough and kept playing.

Then, while taking him apart for Prime, I noticed the foot wasn't articulating the way I wanted. It just would not sit flat.

... and on further inspection, the pin/joint for the foot is broken. Snapped clean through. It looks like the pin was drilled or inserted wrong. The other foot locks into place like I'd expect.

Whelp. Back to Amazon you go.

I hadn't been able to find the deluxes yet. So no Dropkick, Hightower, or Drift yet.
Instead of the poster boys Optimus and Bee, it's Megatron and Barricade, Perfect!
I need to get in on this role reversal fun everyone has been having!

Well it seems Mr Scrapmetal isn’t coming to the UK for whatever reason (no one has him not even on PO, but they do have his wave mates), so gone and ordered one from the US. Just need to order a second to be part of devastator when I can find another at close to UK retail prices.

Tried the weapons wheel configuration with the flight tech on the top at the wheel just like in the film.

Here's a fun little thing I made, the Studio Series checklist.
All the currently shown SS figures, all the main character variants, and every on-screen character that I think has the slightest chance of getting made.

Bending those wings in the opposite direction does not feel good on my copy. Better leave them hanging down.

Also what on earth is the deal with this misterious Joint?:
    IMG_20190906_080300_849.jpg
Can anyone get movement out of those? I don't see the purpose as they could've easily moldet that part on the wing

    Hehe, Classic flight tech storage:
