I want to say mine came from GameStop too. Or eBay. I don't really remember which is pathetic. I know I got Silver Samurai and Boom Boom from GameStop.
Went to eat a pizza place today, and figured I’d swing into the Best Buy next door. She was sitting there waiting for me. So happy to have her.
Them not having MCU figures being rereleased or duplicating characters with (at times) different decos before giving the MCU lines a rest or before filling in gaps? While there are still some gaps to fill (like the above), admittedly, I’ve been pleased with quite a few of the recent multipacks I picked up like the hela set & korg set. Not just because of their aesthetics, but their improved availability and my ability to get a few during multiple 20% & 25% off sales (from Target & GameStop to name a few). Other multisets were either unique decisions or (seemingly) sought after characters.
Found the Cowboy Logan at Gamestop today and picked him up, though I joked with the employee how in a way, the figure was like that episode of The Simpsons involving Lisa and the Malibu Stacy with hat bit... Basically buying a Wolverine we've gotten before but for a hat. XD
Maybe they'll do AoU Scarlet Witch (black dress version) when they get around to MCU Quicksilver. I would buy that box set because I liked that look better than the pants version. They did a pretty good job filling in the gaps with these box sets otherwise though. I might be able to come up with three or four more plausible sets for them to do.
It is hilarious that we got a Michael Pena, Jeff goldblum, and the Hobbit guy figures before Quicksilver. An AoU final battle Hawkeye and Quicksilver 2 pack would be cool. Variant bullet ridden Quicksilver to chase.
And what would Smithers’ boss have to say about that clip as well as hasbro’s reissuing practices knowing that people will buy them regardless? “Excellent...”
Latest.I only wish his armor was a bit shinier. I didn't expect chrome but maybe the silver surfer's color. Overall I'm pleased though.
Hmmm what's wrong with "Artificially Rare" Storm? Yeah, better call it "Popular" or "Hot" just to be in a safe side I have no problems with it. BUT it's nowhere as "Truly Rare" like Jim Lee Cyclops or Juggy Rogue if you consider "Current" and "Non-Current Production" status of a specific figure as factors. I called that term via mere technicality in the sense that some peeps manage to hoard Storm figures to make profit from it passing secondary price double to triple or to be frank, "Scalper Price" in my location/area. So with hoarding figures it creates "Artificial Shortage" hence resulting in "Artificial Rarity". If someone doesn't like the term then I apologize but that's what really happening. I just "Categorized" the "kind of rarity" the figure is getting currently. Anyway back to NYCC predictions, I'm still expecting Hasbro will milk MCU and strike while it's still hot and possibly give us updated sculpts of old figures and re-issue some figs in singles on where they were from initial multi-packs. Unless Hasbro plans to continue MCU not as a BAF series but in a form of Multipacks just like what's happening lately under the 80 years banner. But admit it fellas we're still short of: MCU jumpsuit Professor Hulk, Ancient One, updated Nebula, a non-BAF release of Mantis, a re-issue of Dr.Strange from the 3-pack, Endgame Captain Marvel (short hair), Endgame Final Battle Thor, a Mk.85 with updated RDJ headsculpt w/alternative hands w/infinity stones, and some said Quicksilver and some previous Hawkeye suits. Heck I'm not yet putting the possibility of Hasbro re-releasing Armored BAF Thanos in a form of Multi-pack like: 1.) The Final Snap 2-pack (BAF Armored Thanos - Mk.85 with RDJ head and alternate hands w/infinity stones), or... 2.) Final Battle 4-pack (BAF Armored Thanos - Final Battle Thor, Battle Damaged Worthy Cap, Mk.85 w/RDJ head & alt.hands w/infinity stones)
We have Spiderman. We have Iceman (Icemen, actually, several versions now). I want Firestar. I like the recent Alfred DC Multiverse figure. I'd like to see Aunt May with multiple heads: MCU, 80s toons, few others. Then we could have the Spiderman & His Amazin Friends cast.
I love this Juggernaut so much. Figure of the year for me. Pardon the mess in the background, it's laundry night.
Got her out, but I need to go back to the local weeb store and pick up a stand for her tomorrow. Also now can’t get this out of my head.
If they don't announce one big, bad ass MK85 with a GOOD Stark head, something is wrong. (I'll just buy a 3P head)
Speaking of Storm, I must've just missed her when I found my Juggernaut set. There was literally a big ass pile of Icemen, Samurai's, and a couple Cyclop's on the shelf next to the 80 years stuff. The pegs above it for the vintage wave were stripped clean, save for a couple of Dazzler's. It was like some maniac tore the section apart.
