Got lucky this time, but that was insanely fast. Last exclusives I bought was Fort Max and he seemed to be up forever in comparison.
I even had all my info in auto-complete, so I barely had to do any typing. Still got hosed. I wonder how many of these they made.

I very much had a feeling they had very few left after yesterday and simply had a minimum number in mind to reserve for today depending on how much sold then. And yesterday's numbers were likely somewhat based on whatever was left after SDCC sales in the first place. I want this to go with with my Ectotron, but no way in hell am I paying over $180 for him, so I guess I'm out of this hunt.
Enough for there to be over 65 overpriced listings on Ebay right now, with surely more to follow after this?

There is an Ebay Bucks 8% offer up right now in the US, essentially dropping the price about $16 on most $200~ish listings, putting it at only about a $25 markup after everything. Not ideal, but it's something to work with.

Managed to snag one but I'm legit surprised how quick it went. It's such a stupid collaboration/crossover that I wouldn't expect it to have the appeal it apparently does.

Yeah, me too. I know these are exclusives and all, but some of the hoops you have to jump through to get them are a "pita".
Well, between Transformers fans, Ghostbusters fans, people who just have to have it because it's something someone else wants and folks who just want it to resell it to one of the other three, demand was pretty high. Plenty of BotBots left though. And trading cards... ... good thing they made those.
Yeah, I am much, much more of a Transformers fan than I am Ghostbusters one. However, there is just something about picturing Optimus driving around with that GB logo and those colors that ticks that nostalgic checkbox I didn't even know I had.
Here's hoping that if Hasbro feels this is successful enough, the crossovers will continue. And might come back to a GB crossover for the 40th Anniversary down the road...
