Toy Dojo and TCP also have it up for around the same price. They all got it from an overseas vendor...who unfortunately charged them a more expensive wholesale price...so that gets passed onto the buyer.
So, a further annoyance with Hasbro, after this guy sold out in about a minute of going live, I now get the email from Hasbro that my Star Convoy order due at the end of this month is pushed all the way back until early November... Their quoted time is "AROUND" 12PM EST, which if yesterday's shit-show is any indication, start refreshing your browser every 15 seconds at around 11:50AM and hope to see it up before it sells out in 45seconds? Not sure if that's an exaggeration or not.
Just to prepare folks for disappointment. Note the "Subject to change". It's possible that everything that was available went on sale yesterday and that it sold out roughly four minutes after going live around 11:55 yesterday. By all means, keep refreshing but you may not see it come back up for order.
The only thing about this is that Hasbro sent an email out yesterday well after the premium sold out saying it would be available today. Would be pretty shitty if they had no stock after alerting everyone.
Yep, had it in my cart, and it was gone after my CC info. ETA: I was refreshing every couple seconds until Add To Cart appeared, and I went to town. Took me less than 30 seconds to get to the Payment section, and when I was done there, it was gone. Damn.
After yesterday, I had my Paypal account up and logged in to go as fast as possible, even then, BS adverts slowed me down anyways.
