I want an extra addons pack to make the main Hasbro figure a true camera. Buying another set for $65+ seems silly for a <$10 worth of parts.

Then why not Reflektor?

For me, BBTS was cheaper by a buck or so, so I went that route.

Many years ago, I remember it being stated that K was the most powerful letter in the English language. And that's why Kodak was spelled the way it was -- which may not have even been true in those pre-internet days, before easy fact-checking existed.

 

I would've loved that, it would've helped me imagine these as different guys from reflector even more since both sets are going on the same shelf.

It was, they put more up for order around 11 am central time when the SDCC stuff was put up.

 

I got mine ordered yesterday and i can't wait to get this set. I'm so excited too have both versions of this character. Granted,....I wont be getting it today but in time it will be showing up.

 

Hasbro charged me for mine, but hasn't shipped it yet. But they're super fast in delivery.

 

Just checked the price for these cause I would've liked some bigger g1 style camera bots but it's a bit much for what you get, also years ago i would've never imagined that a set of the same characters from perfect effect would cost almost half of a hasbro product.

I just had these guys turn up today. I've got no complaints and I even like the camera mode, though I'm rarely going to use it (and I'm even planning to keep the box, which I almost never do) .

I am however considering tracking down a regular Siege Refractor and giving him the flash shoulder pieces with his name on (I actually like him, but not enough to get three identical versions of him). His 3-pack buddies will of course still be Viewfinder, Spyglass and Spectro.

 

The silver paint on mine is very poorly applied.

 

Just got mine. I will pay Hasbro extra to have this kind of frustration-free packaging. So easy to deal with!

As to the figures, about what I expected. The deco is pretty sharp, and the extra bits are nice. If any of the usual suspects create new heads, I'll buy 'em to differentiate these guys.

 

I just got mine yesterday as well and i absolutely love this bad boy. I have both cameras now so I'm hopeful done with this mold. Sorry the picture isn't that good just have what me's have for a camera.

And a day later, I've realised I do have a complaint.........

I want new heads for these guys! At the very least, I want a G1-toy style Viewfinder head for one of them.

 

Odd that they didn't see much of a problem in 2014 (Thrilling 30 Skrapnel with Reflector) and 2016 (BotCon exclusive Combiner Wars Reflector 3-pack).
