Well they did try it with Transformers Animated. There are times when using Genndy Tartakovsky-ish animation and art style works and some times doesn’t. I would agree, if they can make the art style like Justice League that would look pretty good. If the writing was good.

I would love to see a G1 cartoon series written by the IDW comics creators.

I don't know about a reboot, but I wouldn't mind a series set in G1 that covers some of the events between the end of season 2 and the beginning of the movie.

Yes, but please make the characters more than 1 dimensional. And give a treacherous Starscream who can actually hold his own against bucket head

Actually it can't be a G1 Sequel. Among other things Optimus Primal's appearance in the Prime Wars Trilogy doesn't align at all with Beast Wars.

There's also the Titans like Metroplex and Trypticon that were thought of as ancient legends despite everyone involved should of already known they existed.

Which is like Hasbro saying they’ve made too much money and now need a break from making money.

They basically do with mixed results every five to ten years or so. Somtimes it's good other times it's not.

What a nonsense thing to say.

It’s not saying that at all. It’s saying they need to innovate and bring in new viewers and new ideas to expand the franchise and improve.

Audiences and markets change. Continually doing the same thing means you don’t bring in new ideas or new viewers, you just begin to lose people who have become disillusioned with the property.

If done properly, new stories and innovation would expand their market, bringing in new buyers and keeping the old.

I'd be down. Wish they would make a series starting off in the 80s with ultra magnus vs shockwave on cybertron while prime and megatron are on earth. You could cross over both the g1 earth cast with cybertron cast. Also you could have back stories of all the autobots that showed up in the movie and season 3. Like how sky lynx got his space shuttle mode etc.
