It’s a shame dude, but it must have been a genuine mistake. It happens. Unfortunately, it happened with MP-44

I thought he was quoting Windcharger in the episode where Prime’s cosmotron breaks?

Mods- can we sticky the fixes put forth by @BrutiKing and @Jarrod somewhere so that they are easy to find?
    Thanks!

Mine came in two days ago. First impressions... I'm lucky that the paint seems perfect on the truck. Haven't transformed it yet. Pretty disappointed by how poor the vehicle mode is. MP-10 and TE01 easily have better vehicle modes. The back of the truck is a disaster. Seems far too busy. Hopefully, it will be worth it in bot mode.

Or, just chuck the voice box altogether and make a new flatter backpack.

So quick question for those that have him. After watching a few video's I transformed him without bending the knee. However the blue parts on both of my knee's easily move up and down about 1/4 of an inch. Is that due to them being broken, or is that just a free floating hinge?

Well this thread has become as divided as the Unicron thread. The crappy minifigures bother me more than Prime's knees.... but I'm still waiting for mine to show up. Kind sad to see so many of these guys for sale too.

Still though... my excitement hasn't wavered one bit. MP-10 was a great, and solid masterpiece, but he is truly a robot when it comes to articulation. For me this is still the only option. I'm a poser and I needs that delicious articulations.

I also don't subscribe to the "bent antennas are on purpose" theory. Mostly. I'm thinking it's the way that particular type of nylon cures. But I could be wrong, I dunno.

Regardless, I fixed mine. Took a lot more heat and manipulating than other softer plastics. I ended up needed to hold them against a flat surface, while hitting them, real close, with a hair dryer on the hottest setting. Took about 3 30 seconds heatings each antenna. I pressed down on each, against the flat surface as they cooled, but also needed to careful bend the tips on each once. I think I accidentally angled the S1 head's antennas a little too far, and went back and corrected them after the picture was taken.

The S1 head BARELY passes through the opening for transformation, however the S2 head fits with no issues.

I got mine today, just got done transforming him. A few problems, one of the pins on the back of the leg is slightly sticking out, which makes it seemingly impossible to seal the leg, it's a minor issue but it's there. I managed to get the front clip of the torso together with the abs. I'm not sure why, but the backpack isn't totally against the body, so I'll have to check that later, it seems to be making the chest planels disconnect where there's a gap between them.

Are you referring to the kneecap on the front? That's normal.

You fixed the knees and straighten the horns/ears.

Now your MP-44 don't have any more subtle Skyrim-homagin' from TT...

Found out last night I have two bum lower knees straight out of the box. This morning I checked to see and it’s because the offending blue parts do not even enter the slot behind the white knee (as described in one of the fixes), tolerance issue.

Anyways, slept it off. Woke up again and transformed MP-44 again. I’m less upset about the knee after sleeping it off. I normally don’t do many kneeling poses, the friction is holding up for now when bending both lower knee joints.

I haven’t made up my mind yet on MP-44, I’ll just have to continue to fiddle around with him.

    In case anybody was curious:

    Had the same issue.

Be sure when you feed the front grill and black matrix chamber into place, the blue plastic piece is pointing straight down, and not into the chest cavity. Once you situate that part correctly, the backpack assembly will lay flush again Prime, and secure.

Yeah, the blue part on the knee. Thanks for the response.
