They all tend to loosen there. Once you get him in a pose you like, push his chest back down and it'll hold in place just fine. Be glad it's not tight because when he first comes out of the box, you think you're going to break him and then you realize he's going to break you. A spudger is necessary for the first transformation. I'll DX9 their props, there. Man, do they make super tight figures that feel like a statue but are actually a toy...

I've never tried to, but you might be able to tighten him up a bit. I don't know if there's a screw you can tighten or Future a slide mechanism, but it might be as-is, unfortunately.

I've found that most of DX9's figures are so tight in spots out of the box that they need to be broken in, like a baseball glove. Mightron, Tyrant, Gabriel, Henry, and even a couple spots on Montana were all like that.

It's one of the reasons that I suspect that Magic Square Prime is DX9 in disguise. He has a couple joints that are stupid tight.

The figure is still accessible NIB. No need to re-issue. Just search either on ebay, taobao, or other non-USA based resellers.

I got mine for $85. Only catch was a broken tab. That was open box, but still complete. To my surprise he's still the cheapest MP Megatron alike. Unless you count MP-36 knockoffs I guess.

Custom shins and sidehole covers as well as toyhax stickers on my Mightron. Primes faceplate is also filed down around two mm.

I decided to nix the transformation on mine, took off a little fodder and glued his hips in so they don't fly out. Messed up the ratchet on one hip, so whoops there. I'm trying to get the chest to stay in place, anyone know what that's really connected to? Thinking it has to do with the hinges on the sorta box on on his back

The shins look WAY smoother than they did when you first put them out. Did you get a higher resolution printer? I'd be interested in ordering some, if still possible. Drop me a PM if you can.

Nothing a light sanding job and some paint don't make perfect. That's what I did with my set from Dangard :)

funny seeing him with te-01. thought most had forgotten about this figure. i picked him up only recently from ebay last fall/winter. was said to be a "reissue"....i don't think the reissue hit many retailers though. i also think its funny seeing him with te-01 as its RUMORED they were designed by the same guy. i don't think ironstar has confirmed one way or another. eitehr way, this guy is the most underated megatron out there. i do think his head is a tiny bit small but he's a great mp megatron interpretation...and a solid toy. while there are few things i prefer about mp-36 and even xtb apollyon i think this is my
" go to" pick as favorite megatron.

If anyone really wants the stock and silencer bits for him, pick up a really cheap apollyon. With about 15 minutes of dremelling/cutting/sanding, you can get the silencer to fit on mightron. I kept those bits and sold off my Apollyon when this first came out.
