It is with deepest sympathy to report that Michael Lindsay has passed away. His wife, Linda Rose Payne took to facebook yesterday to notify friends and family of his passing.

Michael is best know to transformer fans as the voice of RID 2001 Skid-z and Rollbar.

He was also the voice of Joe Kido (while he officially retired from voice acting in 2012, he was a bit dismayed to find that nobody even asked him to reprise Joe for Digimon Tri, as was done for Joshua Seth). Also the original voice actor for Kisuke Urahara in the Bleach Dub.

Damn, way too young. Rest in Peace.

I remember being pretty impressed with the dub quality of RiD back in the day, even for 'smaller' characters like Skid-Z and Rollbar, and given his other roles it sounds like he always gave his best no matter what the part was. Till all are one.

 

The amazing voice actor of some of my favorite characters from one of the best Transformers shows has passed away.  The news comes from these Twitter Accounts Trevor Dylan, Rob Benoit, and Marissa Lenti.
It's very sad to know that great people can't live forever, and he will be missed greatly and will not be forgotten.
