Well this thread is going well.

I remember ppl losing their shit over mp21's feet, backpack and face back in the day. Funny that it's the best thing ever to those same people. How things never change.

I am torn on this... I kind of like it but then I don't and not for the reasons that everyone is debating. My question is whether this edition is TOO cartoony to fit in with the rest of the MPs?

I mean I guess it's going well, they're keeping it to short sentences and not long ass diatribes.

Depends on what you have in your collection and what you want for your collection. He fits in with the newer plus releases and most G1 MPs since MP-25 IMO.

Well good luck. A suggestion from me is you could make a heel to go in that pin hole.
Really? Huh, I never knew. Or maybe I did know. Or maybe I wasn’t concerned with how bad it looked or how many other people shared that sentiment.
Well yeah it’ll be based off your current collection.

    This person is not incorrect.

Ummm... not a good comeback because we ARE talking about this figure... which is in his head... because ... yeah, you get it. Right?

Oddly enough, was thinking a similar thing. They could have used V3 Prime as the point to reboot the scale again, and for the sake of making them a couple of inches bigger, perhaps that might help with the kibble problems. I guess we won’t know until we see if that exact thing is done by a 3rd party

I dont like it. Can forgive the feet. Backback is awful and it seems they could've used those fat legs to fit at least a couple panels in. Head looks like some kinda wierd silicone baby face, it was growing on me in the stock photos but on the final product looks bad. Id buy it for 60 bucks maybe but for 120 dollars? Ill wait til we get a cool Cybertronian Siege Deluxe Bee

I think there has to be a point where people admit the backpack just is that big. Unless we are supposed to beleive that somehow the display staff, video reviewer, and the freaking designer himself failed to transform it correctly.

I will reserve judgment until in hand. I'm sure that it will be fine in hand.

    In my head, you're beautiful.

    Others have different opinions.

Now I accuse everyone else must be in denial.

    See how rational is this.

    Hi Phamduc,

I've seen the tonton video of the MP-45. As for the feet, according to what is seen in the video, I think it should be possible to make an alternative transformation and leave the front of the car without transforming, with the wheel in place, then fold the window inside the door, and fold the door inwards as in the MP-21, so the door would be the back of the foot and there would not be a foot that long, it would be taller, although the entire wheel would be seen laterally.

Could you try to see if it is possible?

    Thank you.

What I dont get is why do we curse Hasbro to heck and back for hollow legs and stuff on a 20 dollar deluxe but then TT gets forgiven for the same if not worse problems on a figure that is 6 times the price?

I mean lets be honest here the feet arent that bad but that backpack is AWFUL and I am an easy person to please. Like it doesnt even look fun to handle...

A lot of the bickering reminds me of the MP Vanettes, but I still felt that even with hip skirts and ass tires, they didn't compromise the figures.

The issue here is, well, BB is approximately the size of a regular line Deluxe. Trying to do a chibi penny racer, then packing a Deluxe-ish figure into it, then having faux feet (which almost has to be a new type of faux part in official MPs) and a faux chest is going to lead to heavy compromises.

I really hope the backpack can be tidied up better, because as much as people groaned about MP-44's backpack, at least it doesn't look like loose hanging bits. Hell, maybe that's the issue: MP-44 is one of the few truly 100% kibble free MPs out there...and this is the next release after that. And it's $100.

    Yeah, just...yeah.

Some "toys" like people are photogenic. I kid you not! They may look like wtfrak in images or even mags but when handled personal, same with MP-21(iirc, there were 3rd party alternate faces for him with more prominent optic., a lot razzed on BB's derpy face yet when in person, he looked great.

Maybe it's the lighting that blurs out the detail?
