Is there blue in ton ton’s looks completely colorless to my eye

 

Huhhhhhghhhh. Hokay. I know I\'m gonna set some folks off here, but please keep in mind that this is MY OPINION, and my opinion only.

I don\'t think this is an improvement  onthe old MP BB, though I don\'t even own that one, so I only have images to compare.

What I do have, is the KBB OSKO of the New Age Flipper. Is it MP \"quality\"? No. But it\'s toon accurate enough, fairly well-built, not incredibly panel-y, scales well with MP,  and is fun to transform. WAY, way less complicated than the new MP. Which, for $17 shipped from China, is a pretty good deal, IMO.

That said, I wish nothing but absolute satisfaction for anyone who\'s been waiting for this MP.

The original and the new Bee looks great.  MP-45 definitely has that G1 show and Marvel look while the original MP has that early IDW vibe.
How it comes out taller than the original MP is pretty amazing.  I\'m sure there will be plenty of KOs with recoloring of the paint and glass.  Still getting the orginal one ; this fall or whenever it makes it out.
 

 

The Autobot symbol should be more centered. WTF Takara lol. No but it is kinda not centered at all. Points off for sure & those damn heels. But since MP-44 is shipping hell be next im down. I do kinda hate the bot mode symbol placement though. Hopefully thats not stock.

Have ZERO complaints w/ MP-44 as far as i can scrutinize to tell.   Bumblebee does look good though

 

Blue. Match Optimus Prime cartoon look. And fix the bot mode Autobot symbol placement!

But then people would complain about them not releasing enough stuff every year. You don't have to buy them as they come out. There's always a guarantee that there will be a second and even third run of these products. But I get what you mean with the timing of these releases being so close together. MP-18+, MP-44 and MP-45 within a two months span.

There's no pressure to buy these things immediately. I paid off MP-45 but instead of MP-18+ since he's not a priority for me, I don't pay off both and use my money unwisely or expect a company to re-structure their release schedule to fit my needs. You have the choice to buy them later, they may even be cheaper in the long run when there is more supply of them or through sales.

I can still buy the original MP-18 for less than MSRP from many places and that release is many years old.

I always thought MP-21 didn't really look like the real character, so big improvement here, in both modes. I quite like the feet too ...

downside:
- yes there's some back kibble, but this has been a thing in transformers world since D1, plus it's mistransformed. MP-21 also had some nice kibble in the back as you all remember.
- I hope the tabbing when transformed back to alt mode is better than shown in the video. Maybe it's because this is a "sample review". Shame he didn't do the gimmick with Spike fitting in the car ...
- is the waist articulation that limited ? Nothing major but just wanted to know


There's so much offerings on the market so no need to diss this figure. A lot of love & engeneering has been put in this release. To each their own

 

Flipper is nearly flawless and any flaws he has are pretty much down to size making some articulation impractical. I'll fight anyone who says otherwise. Come to TFW2005 message board in next 30 minutes if you want an ass kicking.

As for this bumblebee. I can't stand that head, it just doesn't work for me, but I would *absolutely* display him without the faceplate because that weird ass ghost face he has going on to facilitate the face change the way they did it? priceless.

Overall it looks great. Is this definitely the final design for mp45?

I hate to be that guy but ...I like it all apart from the back. I’m fine with a backpack but I wish they could make it look neat and flush like MP44.
