Someone please stop me from buying gigantic MP bots.
What a terrific combined mode though. Best purchase I've made in a long time. Can't wait to get MMC bots for a diorama I'm planning.[IMG]

Man, Bruticon makes me regret buying the UT Bruticus. (Not their Brawl, however. That’s actually a great figure.)

Well, at least with the UT figures you can have them in their individual bot modes and have it both look G1 accurate as well as scale properly with Masterpiece bots too. Zeta’s group are far too tall to scale well that way and also took some liberties with the aesthetic.

Also has anyone posted a picture of a legend-scale Starscream next to him? My Yes Model KO MP-11 looks good with him, but he feels too tall next to Bruticus IMO...

If it counts, here's a quick pic of an MFT scale legends between them.

That's pretty close to what I was wanting to see. It looks like I may have to go CHUG-scale to get a good scaling with them as legend looks just a wee bit too small.

Considering MFT legends are pretty much scouts I think that might be exactly what you want. Expect any other legends seekers to be even smaller than megs.

Looked at a number of CHUG-gy Starscreams over the night last night and figured the best option was the Cybertron: Siege one. Had to run to a Home Depot in Puyallup for some hex bolts and lucked out that the Target across the street had one lone ‘screamer in stock.

Pretty much perfect scale wise, but I may have to do some tweaking with all the detail work on him to get him looking like he an Bruticon are from the same universe.

    /edit

We’ll see if this works, I’m on my iPad and haven’t used it to post images before...

I have been trying for days to pull apart this right side of Brawl’s chest and just can’t seem to do it. The left side comes apart easy, anyone have a problem like this and possible solution??

Wiggle the piece gently top to bottom and it should give. I had the same issue with my V1 Brawl but after a couple of transformations it loosened up.

OK, I have 4 of the five now, I received Swindle today...he's ok but I could due without that stupid expression on his face.
Vortex, yes is really cool but a bit bulky but I'm ok with that.
Brawl is fantastic. the only drawback there is the tank treads but I can get used to that as well.
Onslaught is outstanding. But again, one failing...he's soo damn back-heavy.
All I need now is Blast-off.

Finally caved and ordered Bruticon. His toon color scheme with the @ShadowOfSilver add-on kit will fit in my collection much better. Now I just have to reattach the kibble to “Blast Off” & “Vortex” and sell my Armageddon set.

Yes, I don't like the lack of the die cast feet this time. The pads are nice, but need the weight for me.
Grabbed a couple of packs of 25 heavy earth magnets for $1 each and opened up the hollow feet (and toe) and filled them with them.
The weight is back and All is well again. Maybe if I put him on a metal plate, he will stick; lol.

Does anyone have Zeta Bruticon (Toon Version) and got a custom toon accurate chest piece on him pic they can share? Has anyone replaced the chest piece to a toon accurate one even?

How heavy are those? I usually use pinederby tungsten weights to light toys. I think the weight to size ratio is one of the highest

I used the ceramic ones. One should be able to find them in any place that sells crafts. I used all 25 in one foot. They are so inexpensive I just shoved them all in there.
The foot is actually stuck to the scale plate magnetically here lol. 9.9oz (or 0.62 lbs). After thinking about it, I will probably put them in the toy version die cast ones too ^O^.

Gimme about a year... I got one off @TigerBlade but unpainted as he hasn't got the toon version.

This'll be my first proper bit of custom stuff. I've painted bits here and there, but this something else. I'm going to airbrush the additional pieces from him and also add to Blast Off with some purple...

I'll post when I'm done, but like I said it's in it's infancy!

I wasn't that interested in him, but then I decided that I prefer to keep my XTB Stunticons in bot mode, which meant that I have space for one more combiner. Decided to get this guy. He's fantastic! The bots (except for Onslaught) are chunky, but TBH they look better in-hand than in pictures. Still, they're far from perfect, Blastoff and Vortex, as their kibble tends to get in the way of articulation.
I've got Toyworld's Constructicons, and I actually keep them in as individual bots. They two are chunky, but they have that original toy vibe, which I love. These... not so much, but they do have their charm. Combined, however, he's great, and I'm very happy with him!
