Have you got any toyhax/reprolabels? Many of their labels have additional printed areas /over prints that can be handy, I often use these "off cuts" to add splashes of color to figures without needing paint. Best of all it's easily reversible if you change your mind.

Alternatively there might be other ways to find yellow labels you can cut to the shape you need...for example stickers at Office Depot/staples

I'm kinda curious, does the SG version come with a trailer? Because I was looking at TFSource's listing for them, and the original is $55.99, the Ultra Magnus version, which doesn't have a trailer, is at $39.99, but the SG version is priced between them at $44.99. More interesting is the text, where the white version says, "transforms from robot to truck cab and back", while the purple says "tractor trailer and back". But there's no trailer listed under product features, whereas the original version does list a trailer.

I'm just more curious than anything. Like if the SG version does have a trailer, that would make sense its more expensive than the UM version, but then why is it also less than the normal version, unless the normal version has something it doesn't.

I think the notes on Oh My Primus say it doesn't come with the trailer.

Even after having this dude for a while, I still get amazed at the posability that there is in such a small figure. Makes me quite tempted to make my first Shattered Glass purchase... not too sure the wife will understand though!!

Really can't wait to see what their Megatron will turn out like - hopefully as quality as this is.:)

Hello. I'm just beginning to discover the 3P Legends Transformers, and the Magic Square Optimus looks really amazing for size. I currently have only a few Newage carbots (and no Magic Square) and I was wondering how Optimus' plastic quality is compared to Newage. And also how are the joints? Tight or not ?!

plastic quality of MS, and NA, in general are worlds apart. the material MS uses leaves the robots with a matte finish - i can't remember the specific material that they use, but it has been mentioned here a couple of times already. NA, I believe, uses materials that are typical with other bots, they tend to feel or look thicker than most. in terms of joint tightness, it's a hit or miss. I have some MS that have loose, and other tight (my MS Lambros have tight joints, others have encountered floppy ones, especially the leg panels coming loose), the same goes with NA - Jazz is tight, while I had to Future floor polish my Prowl to tighten some joints.

Enjoy the fall down the rabbit hole..!!;)

As others have said, there is a noticable difference between the 2 plastics. Regarding joints etc. In my experience (I have both NA and MST figures) it really does just depend what turns up in the post.

I had to do a bit of work on my MS Prime due to loose elbow joints, but my neighbour didn't have that issue with his one.

Personally I highly recommend MS Prime - so much that I could quite easily but all different variations... must resist though..!!;) :D

Magic Square uses a nylon plastic. It is supposedly more expensive to produce and is stronger/less brittle than the ABS that Newage uses. There are videos out there of MS figures being thrown around and stomped on without taking any major damage. The plastic has more of a bendy feel, so some joints can be loose, but not exceedingly more loose than other figures. Nothing a little Future polish won't fix.

Floor wax with an acrylic additive, for the new guy. Traditionally known as "Pledge Future Floor Polish", or "Pledge Floor Polish with Future". Tightens joints up with micro-layers of clear acrylic, without the risk of damage or bonding that comes with using super glue or nail polish.
Why your Prime have white eyes? He join the X-Men?
