It's never perfect is it. So there is room to improve and make a v3 in 3 years for $200 *faceplam

The hands don't even reach the thighs thats just bad proportions.

I cancelled this guy a while back, then seeing all the excitement about mp44 and then the transformation video of mp45 I went back to amazon japan and reordered him. I’m not missing out on the excitement next month!

It’s interesting how our views can change so much.

Looking at the inflation thats happened over just the last 2 years, I think it would be more of $400

Tonton is the worst at transforming things. He is more interested in being first and making money.

I don't want 2.0 but this review is hardly a fair or appropriate means to assess the figure.

Absolutely true. If you look at any other, more recent, showcases of MP-45 he’s presented at his true form. This, while showing some cool stuff, doesn’t meet his true potential.

That’s impression I got when people complain about movie bot looks they want them to look more hand drawing cartoon accurate than realistic looking people wanted more cartoon looking LEGO blocky transformers in movies that’s bumblebee movie and now there getting it with new prime and bumblebee master piece figure there complain about toys now.,

Be careful what you ask for you may get it and some people got what they ask for

Trying to maintain some weird scale works against them.
If they were allowed to make larger figures then a lot of the problems with this figure could be alleviated.

And I’m as happy with a lot of others about the BB movie designs.

I can happily accept the heel kibble in place of the ginormous moon boots that the V1 MP Bumblebee has. The backpack is not that bad, in my eyes, either, and the proportions, head, colour and details and are all so much better on the V2 IMO. Love the chibi car mode much more than the accurate one too. Think this may have to be a purchase.

Wow, I'm genuinely surprised at how they shoved a taller bot into a smaller package (even though it looks terrible) but, damn. That face still looks like a slightly melted wax figure. Nightmare fuel.

If only they had stuck with the original MP-1 scale...

I actually would love an MP Bumblebee in scale with MP-1.

I say we call it a loss, buy smart cars, and pay to have them customized to look like either Cliffjumper’s alt-mode or even Hubcap’s alt-mode. Color variant optional.

Seeing that toon deco on the figure, the simplified paint scheme, the blue glass. Things like that. But I get where you're coming from.

I'm keeping MP-21 as my Bee. I'll wait until this is repainted into Cliffjumper and pick that up instead. That way Bumbleebee will still be the shortest of all my bots.

Looks good but I’m holding out for G1 Bumblebee v3.0 and G1 Prime v4.0 in 2021.

The that amount of “mass shifting” and how good he looks head on. I can forgive the back pack. Feet still look a little funny.
