Yeah I guess that would be tough from regular bedroom/living room ceiling. my friend, whos not even a collector was showing off his mancave to me (their garage) and I was surprised to see an armada unicron hanging from one of the support beams (it was actually in bot mode). I guess I am underestimating its weight, but I would love the visual of a planet mode floating in midair as if searching for its next meal.

Yeah, looks like the top of the shoulder pauldrons becomes the equatorial ring with the spikes, while the back and front could open and be part of the planet crust.

Zeta said on Facebook that there isn't partsforming, I'm willing to believe that.

Honeymooners: Jackie Gleson and Audrey Meadows mid-1950s worth a watch for sure.

Ralph likes to use space travel as a metaphor for beating his wife.

    Even better.

Depends entirely on what you collect and what you want from the figure.

True. As an MP collector though it would be nice if he was at least an inch or so taller than our tallest bot, even if it is just symbolic.

I agree with those that say Unicron will never be to scale anyway, but if her were the tallest in the collection, that'd satisfy me.

You Legends guys are the lucky ones here as far as Unicrons/Core Stars current heights go.

I'm not actually a Legends guy (although I love some of the stuff I've seen at that scale and it would save me a fortune). My entire collection is MP scale, but even if you switched up Zeta's cm for inches Unicron would still look wildly out of place. If I get this it'll be its own piece, possibly with a model planet or some such for him to terrorise. Papier mache Lithone anyone? :D

Yeah, I'd display him alone also.

Yep. As I had hoped. Official for planet mode. Zeta for Robot and hoping they do a more orange versus the washed up whatever the official is trying to do.

I saw it mentioned at least twice here and thought the same prior to pics today. If the size was small, which it is, he'll be for the MS/legends display. He's unfortunately too small though seeing Legends Fort Max is at 22". I was hoping more closer to 22-25" for Zeta's. No biggie, makes it easier to display at least, where I don't have to clear an entire wall for it now.

    Thanks...
    Oh my.....
Not very romantic, yet its called honeymooners?! What sarcastic madness. Stuff like that in the 1950's would have been scandolous. (Showing beating a wife on TV that is)

I'm actually starting to wonder how this is going to look in colour, in planet mode, though. From the molding alone, it looks like he's missing that silver "swiss cheese" layer over the planet's surface. And I can't tell how much more the colour's going to be broken up as the result of using actual robot parts for some of the planet surface.

i hope zeta decide to rework the planet mode details the more i look at this the more i'm leaning towards it especially as i know it will be cheaper

we need some decent pictures and one of our good digi bashers to colour them

Frankly, no. Crying babies get milk so to speak, but the increased manufacturing costs in conjunction with a significant release delay, lastly a final price increase just isn’t in Zeta’s or potential buyers interests.

Being cynical Haslab had no choice, they have invested a lot into this project and weren’t going to let their project fail due to poor marketing etc. Zeta on the other hand will likely release death sorry core star regardless whether demand is high or not.

In what world is YouTube-ing photos better than just posting photos?

    Low-effort trash videos...

When you get more money than $0 then that's why you see a waste of time video from someone who I will never watch again.

The funny thing is there will be fewer Zeta Unicron than HasLab, hence it would be rarer. I doubt Zeta will sell 8,000 units.

Certainly not. I'm relatively certain that the most popular 3P figures out there might only see 4-5000 units shipped worldwide, over multiple reissues. Standard production runs are more like 1-2000 in this industry.

Lol, he doesn't. It's a classic double act Ralph is the comic and Alice is the straight man. It's a clever show and all the episodes were filmed live.
