My bank was charged by AmazonJP, now a sigh of relief.....come to papa.

 

There ARE KOs of MP-36 that have English lines in the soundbox, though that's a separate kettle of fish.

 

this may be the best tf yet cant wait to get it... when i'm not broke

Same! Ish just got real!

 

It's a little disconcerting how happy I am that MP44 has the blue diaper up his butt, as he should.

 

Maybe I can't see it in pics but I'm hoping the tint of white paint used is the ultraviolent style with slightly purple tint.

 

What’s wrong with being a fanboy?

 

Takara's sculpting abilities never cease to impress. It's so neat how the new MP has such a natural and dynamic stance even though he's literally a robot made out of rectangles. Everyone else looks like a toy of a toy, MP-44 looks like Optimus, the character.

 

Cullen lines and cartoon music! Great surprise. I was expecting 3P to release a soundbox with english clips like the 3P Megatron cannon I bought with Welker's voice. Now I just need to look for diecast antennas... unless they were removed due to paint scraping or potentially impaling someone at TT HQ.

I appreciate all the early photos we've been getting from the lucky few like the 50 or so extreme close up shots of his waist hinge (that will pair nicely with my wall sized print of the backpack collage that someone out there made  ), but no one bothered to put on his S1 head yet? I know, it was only used in that 1 episode for 5 seconds that no one remembers. 

I think the best views of him so far are in this video.

THere's a looseness to him in the video that I assume helps with getting nuanced poses out of him but I hope it doesn't get too loose over time. Fingers crossed but I already have a bottle of Future if needed.

Also like seeing the evolution of the products.

We knew this, but it's nice seeing it side by side. They finally fixed the toy error on the truck that had the handrails unaligned with the step ladder. I think a lot of Primes and the toys in general have cheated the alt mode or bot mode over the years. I think this one is trying to go all out in getting rid of those sculpting cheats through toy engineering.

EDIT - of course as soon as I post this, an S1 head photo pops up!

 

I don't understand all the hate for MP-44 on the other thread. I think he looks really good. Why people have a need to bad mouth on MP-44?

Oh, silly me  ! I thought they had put him in that position so he wouldn't fall for the weight of his backpack ...

 

Personally I appreciate how much mass they shifted. Looking at the top view the total area of MP44 is much smaller than either. TE has the slimmer profile but since it lacks articulation and really any new innovation I'm not as impressed. MS01 stills look like an oversized Legends figure. Great for people that like that.
