I had come to terms with not being able to afford Unicron, but if they include Hook, Line, and Sinker I'll find a way to make it happen.  

 

I'm bewildered there's people other than me wanting Hook, Line, and Sinker.

Guess I'll keep making noise then as you never know. They could all turn into the Requiem Blaster or something.

 

Technically, we have surged 1000 backers in the last 4 days. The million dollar question pertains to the etailers. Did they truly have 1000? If they did, Friday and Saturday, we would have had to have a 1000 surge, 500 a day. Quite daunting but not impossible. Maybe Hasbro thought it was too risky, but at the end of the day, having 5500+ backers is quite the success.

 

SWEETNESS! Smart on Hasbro, or they planned it as a contigency all along if it hit 5k or something. now i can try to squeeze a second one into the month.

 

I think even little decoy style figures would be enough for some

I never said that extending the deadline wasnt a good thing. Nothing wrong with a little damage control if it helps the fans. I backed the project the first hour it was announced during SDCC. How about you ? Many of the skeptical posters on this forum are also backers. We just dont live in fantasyland. We knew 8000 in a month was not realistic and didnt feel it was our job to play cheerleader and fill the board with false hopes. Now at least it has a fair chance. I still stand by my opinion that not counting the Takara Tomy Mall preorders was a dick move by Hasbro. They could have met their goal of 8000 already easily. But they wanted to be greedy and sell another 2000 or more units on top of the 8000. How is outing Takara customers "brand unification" ???

 

Honestly, even if Hasbro doesn't I'm hoping a 3P decides Sideways should go with this Unicron.

I had a thought. What if Hasbro releases Primus as a Titan? I know there was talk of what if unicron got released as a smaller Titan scale but Hasbro could shock us with a Primus instead. I mean Omega supreme is only a few inches shorter than Unicron so it could be done. It won't be a 20lb behemoth but a simpler transformation, less pieces, less weight Primus could be cool.

 

Well with the Unicron storm pushed back to October 6th it seems I only have to deal with Hurricane Dorian.

 

Maximum is unbound...until 11:59pm October 6, 2019. On October 7, whatever number of orders there are will be the number of Unicrons that will be produced. That's it. No second production run. No revisions. No repaints. That's it.

 

How does TFSource have this listed? This isn\'t a done deal. Nice little markup the added too. Cannot wait till the barrage of 3rd party Unicrons come to the market.

 

Honestly, that could work if it retained Cybertron Primus' transformation since that's not panel city at all (just with two added to cover the hands), but I'd want them to be almost equal size.

Only Zeta so far since the Beast Wars Neo third party figure is dead since 2015.

 

That's where I was going. Look at the Titan Omega supreme height vs unicron. They're very similar

 

I haven't seen them next to each other, just Unicron next to Fortress Maximus who he towers above.

 

Almost 5500 now, I might be without power when Dorian hits so if I do it'll be a nice surprise to see how much it jumped between before I lose power and when I get power back.
