Vehicle mode is good. Bot mode is off IMO. Something about the arms or maybe just generally the proportions.

 

But it saves milliseconds doing them simultaneously, Mr. Leisurely Life.

 

it is the arms indeed - upper arm longer than the forearm. and then there's the ultra long shoulder mounted blaster. i guess baby steps at this point. it will be a while till Newage, and Magic Square teases theirs. until then, it's either TW or IF for Wheeljack

 

Didn’t MST post a drawing of a head or am I dreaming? I am happy with IF though so it’ll have to be pretty good to tempt me.

Got mine in today. Mostly good first impressions, but the feet on mine fall apart too easily. The outer pieces fall off from the slightest touch in robot mode. In vehicle mode, the pieces are braced against the rest of the assembly, so it's less of a problem.



I don't see any reason why the feet needed to be 2 pieces, especially since the original mold didn't include anything like that. They don't come apart for any part of the transformation or for articulation. I think I might just glue the pieces together.

use it as a display piece...have IF bruticus tearing him in half. turn a lemon into lemonaide

 

For me it was his tiny head that was a turn off. Got rid of mine, but will be picking up this IF version.

 

Got Wheeljack in!

 

Oh flashback to last Saturday when the exact same thing happened with mine.

Was able to glue/repair it so that I got the ab crunch back but waist swivel was a lost cause.

Still poses okay but tbh he's probably going to be Action Master Wheeljack now on

 

I tried (and failed) to do the opposite - glued him up to preserve the waist swivel, but lose the ab crunch. Came apart on first transformation. Might take another stab at it.

Sorry to hear yours broke as well. Given that this looks to be a design flaw, I wouldn't be surprised if a lot more people end up with their Hexwrenches in two pieces.

 

Did try and repair it to keep both but it only kinda worked and after one transformation attempt it broke again. Then decided to cut the swivel as would have more surface area to play with.

Sorry yours got Movie Jazz'd as well but yeah that is a definite weak point for him.
