I feel the same. I know some people really want them, but, like always, us squishy fleshbags are really just scenery in any good Transformers media (yes, I’m looking at you, Bay).

That Starscream face is what made me believe they’re planning a V3 for him too. It’s no one-off quick hit accessory. That’s a newly sculpted head, which is no small thing.

 

And how about the battle-damaged head?!? How did they let those antennae go so bent up    

 

Really hoping the starscream head fits on MP11! But doubt it will

hey at least we can disassemble the head and use heat to bend back the antenna . easy.

Amazing, he looks perfect in truck and bot mode. I was planning on cancelling my 2nd pre order, but I dont think theres anyway I could do that now...

you know it’s funny, with all this money they used for this guy, they STILL couldn’t bother to paint the faces of Spike and Sparkplug

 

I'm glad this looks to be so well-put-together, I mean, I really can't afford it, but I wish I could. I doubt a KO will come close to the standard that Takara has achieved with this particular release. ARGH. So ExPeNsIvE!!!

 

That Starscream Head looks perfect. I hope it’s ball jointed so I can switch out the old goatee laden head on mp11

Can't say enough good things about that figure now that we have in-hands pictures! The level of toon accuracy is second to none, the paint finish is simply amazing, the spring loaded hip-skirt panel is genius, the chrome are just incredibly beautiful... I don't have enough words to tell how much this thing looks the part! This is definitely G1 Optimus Prime. I never thought I would say that but TE-01 clearly doesn't stand a chance in front of MP-44. MP-44 looks so dynamic and alive it's hard to believe.

Can't wait for all of you lucky guys to put your hands on him. Not getting him and seeing how nice he is is a huge letdown. I somehow thought I would probably not fancy it as much as you all, but I am probably the person most looking for it but not getting it...

Rich, I think 44's heads are like the Fusos where they slide over a block that's ball jointed to his neck. We'll see! If that's the case, maybe 44's ball jointed block base can pop off and fit on 11's neck nub?
