Dang it. I was robbed and my CC was stolen. Bank advised me to close my account until new card is issued and that can take a week or longer. Contacted amazon.jp and they said there is a possibility that my pre-order might still be able to be paid for because they make attempts to capture funds for 6 days after the payment due date, and there is a small glimmer of hope because my new card and account is supposed to be here by the 6th which should be the final time they try to process payment. Hoping that new card and account can be set up in time so my initial pre-order isn't canceled, and I don't have to pay more for the Prime I've been dreaming of since I was a wee tot. The current price on amazon.jp is $50 more than what I was going to pay, and it's still under $400, but the $328 shipped price felt so much cheaper   
I was SO excited to have my card processed for this order, I've been hyping it up to my housemates and girlfriend for about two weeks. Of course a mere two days before payment is due, I get robbed. Stupid crack addicts!

You know there are two kinds of collectors. People that feel the need to get everything and collectors like myself. I am a minimalist and thus I only buy what I really want. Which works out great because IMO stuff displays much better when you have a few really nice things vs a cluttered shelf. No money is not an issue just that I am an adult, I don't have much space and, I have never really been that impressed with the MP line. That having been said I did order a MP-44 months ago. I may get a MP-45, maybe MP-47 and MP-12+. I used to have about 4 of 5 MP's a few years ago but I sold them all. That is how unimpressed I was. I did pay 1,050.00 for a custom cell shaded MP-10 back when custom painted primes were hot. But it looked so good it made the rest of my collection look even worse. But the +'s, Prime 3.0 and BB 2.0 have restored my faith. Maybe now the line is getting just starting to get good... Anyways best of luck with your decision. You can always be a collector without having to buy every MP. Just saying..
