Considering most main-line Transformers are manufactured in Vietnam these days (I believe), I wonder how much these price increases will affect us.

This article is talking about all of the brands that Hasbro still makes in China. Since Transformers are currently made in Vietnam, I don't think we'll be affected by the price increases as much, if at all.

Yeah, I\'m seeing \"Made in Vietnam\" on all my Siege packaging, there\'s no need to raise prices on those.  Are any of the TF lines still made in China?

Hasbro toys are not of good quality, and I would not be surprised if they end up being 30 dollars for something that was like 10. I'd rather buy used.

So despite Transformers being made in Vietnam, I think the implication is that ALL brands will be affected no matter where they come from. 10% tariffs are nothing to sneeze at so I'm guessing a $2 to $5 increase on voyagers and smaller but Leaders and up who knows? Passing it off to the consumer because the retail shops said they didn't want to pay it kinda sucks, but my guess is that they threatened to not sell Hasbro toys anymore if they made them eat the cost (or Hasbro saw the writing on the wall). Maybe Unicron's price was high in anticipation of this tariff. But again, who knows? I know we're not allowed to be political here but damn if I want to say something political.

Skalor and Snaptrap’s cost seems high now but will become the standard RRP for toys if that size.

    Probably.

It\'s s no win situation. If they make  retailers pay more than finding Hasbro products will be harder but making customers pay more might mean lower sales and a decrease in profit but people saying transformers are made in Vietnam so I guess we\'re safe but if you want other Hasbro products. Also wasn\'t the idea of tariffs on China dropped?

Gonna have to find a new plastic formula there Brian, I know the environment doesn't really factor into corporate thinking, but at least look at new oilless plastic alternatives so you don't have to keep doing this.

They’re high enough as is. Any higher and I’m out

Hopefully they’ll all be Made in Vietnam. Screw China. Unethical shits. I know tariffs will hurt us in the short term, but China will lose the long game
