All of these look great, and Arcee looks like a breath of fresh air from what some other companies are doing. I think she looks awesome personally.

    Loving that Bee.

I don't mind the other two, they could do with a bit of an improvement, Arcee with the likeness and Soundwave toned down a bit, however overall I'm a fan.

In my opinion these look much better than the 3A stuff.

Kinda weird not too terribly interesting. Depends how good the articulation is.

    Oooh, nice job!

I really like the Soundwave design. Although whoever described it as Grimlock-looking is totally right. (soundwave and wfc grimlock did the fusion dance)
Maybe Mondo is planning to do a repaint of it as Grimlock...

I looks cool so far. I wish Mondo would be quicker with their releases. Everything is moving at a snails pace. They have TMNT, Batman the Animated Series and MOTU for 1/6 scale figures. They teased a lot of TMNT comic stuff like Shredder and the Foot Soldiers but nothing has been released yet. All this stuff has a lot of potential, and I hope that 3A will continue to do their movie stuff because that stuff is the best by far for movie figures. I don't see why they would stop. I also wonder if this is why Toys Alliance is not doing anything anymore, it would have been nice for them to release their Soundwave. So close, yet so far.

The Arcee design kinda looks like what would happen if you took Alex Milne's Arcee Design, but ran it back through a G1 filter. It has the broader, less waif-ish proportions of that design. But by stripping the armour flares back down to a minimalist, G1-esque aesthetic, it removes a lot of the implied feminine curves as well, and just looks "butch", rather than, "rugged, but feminine".

Soundwave looks alright but I might have to pass since I was let down with their IG. He didn't even have ankle tilts.

It's... OK, at best. Toys Alliance's run at non-transformable but highly articulated G1 renditions had me going, but now that their run is ending, I'm not really going back in for what may very well end up being a set of expensive doorstops/room dressing.

I guess if you squint it kind of looks like Soundwave.

Hey Peeps! Brock here! I'm the creative director for toys/collectibles/tiki here at Mondo. Glad (most) of you are digging these, or at least curious about em. I'll be around now and then to answer what questions I can. I like to keep secrets for the purpose of surprises, but if anybody knows me from our MOTU stuff, then you'll know I'm pretty honest.

Anyway, to get a couple of general things answered- 1) no, like some have guess, these do not transform. But they'll be super articulated 2) the Arcee pictured there is an early design, and we've made some tweaks here and there since. She'll be feminine, but not cheesecake. 3) Optimus & Megatron seem to be where everyone starts with these sorts of lines, so to be a bit diff, we're not going to get to them for a bit. 4) our designs will always be our take on the characters- familiar yet new. That's been our approach with these sorts of lines (TMNT being the slight exception). 5) these are part of our 12" Mondo Mecha line, which includes robots like these, a new Iron Giant, as well as reinterpreting characters like Batman, Spidey, Cap. America, Black Panter, etc. as giant Japanese-inspired mecha. If you saw pics of our booth at SDCC this year, you'll know what I'm talkin about.

    What else?

    Anyways, nice to be here!

I should say the Iron Giant in the little insert pics is our old 16" one. New one will be about 12" or so. WITH ANKLE TILT haha.

Bumblebee looks great, reminds me of how Hot Rod was portrayed as a teenager-ish in TFTM.
But only cooler because ... Bumblebee !!!

Yeah, Bumblebee be looking pretty grown-up there. It's a pretty good look for him. Shed some of that baby fat around the jowls, gotten pretty buff. He's no high-school kid anymore, he's a college stud.

Not gonna lie, the only one I really think looks good is Bee. Soundwave looks a little too lacking in the lower torso for my liking, imho, and Arcee\'s design feels off in a way.
