i haven’t played War for Cybertron in awhile so I tried to load it up yesterday. Only reason I did so was I was trying to create a series of clips that show the Cybertronian Civil War.

So I’ve done that mostly with Fall of Cybertron, but I needed to have places vary so they’re not the same every time.

So when I started, I was somewhat rusty but still remember the mechanics and I went on playing it. There weren’t much players around. It didn’t help that I was playing under a new name so I start from scratch.

There wouldn’t have been a problem. So I set it all up to film my thing. I was getting excited at playing it again in certain maps, particularly the moon base.

After setting up my thing, I got to join the second batch. Not that I haven’t seen it before, but I thought the hackers would’ve tired and left by now. But I saw a scientist class with an eternal armor with POKE ability. And a scout with a one shot scatter blaster when you get in contact with you’re down.

I heard that there was nobody playing WFC anymore. I could understand why. These days I would prefer FoC because it’s a more or less fair play. As mentioned, I was just making gameplay clips to chronicle the civil war on Cybertron and I wanted more locales and sights.

I wish High Moon fixed this. Or maybe I’ll chance by a day where these hackers are not playing so I get to match with regular players and try to capture some clips. Too bad though because WFC was a good game. I’m sure without the cheating and hackers, there would still be more players around. The cheaters have ruined the experience and now literally nobody plays it except for one or two that occasionally come by.

    It’s a waste.

This game has been having hacker problems since 2011 when I watched my friend play multiplayer and witness his team get pwned by hackers.
Basically 2 guys completely ruined a matched and made everyone else (including their own team mates, because these 2 guys were hogging kills) rage quit.
Just buy it for the single player game.

If you want fairer multiplayer, the ROTF game multiplayer seemed fine when I played it.

Yep. I went on a long hiatus since the last game I played because I was already seeing the hacked characters. It’s terrible. As I mentioned, FoC has its share of cheats and hacks, but thankfully not as blatant as the ones in WFC and it only happens in certain maps.

I may have to look at that RoTF game.
