Man, I hope Optimus gets another go in Studio Series. That Voyager is seriously a pile of garbo

Love that Cybertron honeycomb deco. Shame this version at least didn't come out more widely.

Guys, I got SS Dropkick today and I have thoughts, cause I was expecting him to be a deluxe size so he could partner up with Downshift, but he's not exactly what I expected:

Like I know this sounds stupid to everyone else who got ss bee a year ago but what is this scout-class lookin scale?

I'm not disappointed tho, he's super fun and so cute! And his transformation's pretty awesome too, esp considering his size.

Also he's probably the only figure I have that's in scale with dotm ironhide tho

The rectangular tabs on the SS05 blades fit inside the 5 mm ports because they are 5 mm long.
Do you need me to take pictures?

    A:
I remember someone writing that it's been verbally confirmed by a worker on the convention where it was shown. Unfortunately I cannot find this line, so I can't quote it :(

    B:
I don't mean to insult anyone who doesn't see this but I need to say that it's rather obvious actually

    C:
Hightower is proof, isn't he? He didn't undergo some changes. He's a completely different design altogether

I'd prefer a green or blue screen backdrop over the backdrops we're getting with SS. They could pair this with some sort of "online marketing strategy" where they give a link to some Hasbro site and codes on the toys instructions for unique backgrounds to use in the online picture editor.
You know what I mean? That would've been awesome, cheaper for Hasbro and made them more money by bringing people to their websites where they can torture people with advertisments.
Man, maybe I should apply for a job at Hasbro's marketing segment with those kinds of ideas haha :D

Don’t worry friend I agree 100%. I said similar things in the devastator “prototype” thread back when it was revealed and some people thought I was crazy. Which is why I prefaced my post with “this is just my opinion”, but I guess some others have either come around to seeing the truth or I just didn’t see them in that og thread. I said something along the lines of “that devastator looks like a giant brick that plugs into long haul and rampage” and for a hot minute I even thought that’s what it was gonna be lmao.

Tbh I don’t even know why they would reveal a non transforming model like that. It’s most likely not indicative of the final product whatsoever. I guess to build hype or whatever.

It's been so long since I've bought a movie figure... well broke that streak today with SS Long Haul!

He looks really good. Articulation is limited of course and you have to learn to work with what you got, but its still enough for some cool poses.

Also the box art (especially the close up on the side) makes it seem like he's laughing lol

When I bought Megatron, my biggest doubt was the cape... the hood in particular, because in the official photos it has a shape too perfect and regular, and does not look good on the robot figure! When the package arrived, I noticed that the hood was not visible... opening the box, I noticed that the hood was folded behind the head and held firm with an elastic strap; when I freed the hood was all curled... and this was my luck, because in these conditions it makes better on the robot! In fact if you look at the image below, on the left side there is the official photo with the hood in good condition and the cloak positioned badly... instead on the right there is my photo with Megatron, who has the curled hood that falls well on the face (like an old and heavy fabric like that of the CGI of the film), and the cloak positioned properly in a more realistic way! My advice, curl the hood to give it an older, shabby look so that it fits better on Megatron's head, and take care to position the cape better on the bust of the robot, before taking a picture of it or to keep it on display in the showcase! I imagined an alternate ending to TLK, where Hot Rod uses his Time Gun on Nemesis and then walks right up him...

"You don't deserve le magic staff nor le magic matrix of leadership."

Hot Rod relieves Nemesis of both relics, is transformed into Rodimus Prime and proceeds to defeat Quintessa and her forces as the new leader of the Autobots.

I have this love hate relationship with long haul at the moment. On one hand his robot mode is beautiful and the truck mode is good. On the other hand transforming him is a royal pain in the ass, my copy has loose knees, and tabbing him together is practically impossible. Are these common issues or did I just get a bad copy?
